To be honest, I think if this section was to come back it should be a "post and view at your own risk", meaning no moderation team. If users are getting offended, then they can simply leave the topic, it isn't that hard.

You underestimate the youth just because the majority acts as if they were hyperactive degenerated losers (yes, I am ashamed for the majority of my generation. I agree with Mario.

  In my opinion the board did not contribute anything positive to our community at all. If anything, it only separated the members and caused forum rulebreaks (intentional or not).

JC ; You should of obvserved that the rate of rulebreakers has increased rather than decreased ever since the section is down.
And your last part, especially "a funny and positive way" is wrong. A few scenarios, such as plane-2-tower cannot be recreated in a humorous way, as well as any streak of assassinations and AFAIK these are real world problems too. So the only way is to talk about them in the proper section and NOT to set them in motion in the game. These would just lead to punishment as they do nowadays.

As much as I'd love to see it back, it won't happen. We may all say that we'll keep strictly to the rules, but we all know that practically every single topic turned into arguments that most of the time got personal - although I still feel if you can't take someones opinion, regardless of whether or not they hit you with it hard, then you shouldn't even be on the board. But people kick up shitstorms, and this is why we can't have nice things.
