This week, my old headphones from Sony, about 3 years old, stopped working. So, I want to buy new ones, cheap but with good quality. I use headphones only for music, maybe rarely films also. What manufacturers do you recommend? I have heard good about Sennheiser and Sony headphones quality, Sony doesn't seem too expensive either.

I have always used in-ear plugs, that also block sound from outside.
Small remote to control volume, maybe song, could also be useful.

And no Beats/Monster, way too expensive and almost everyone has here Beats.

EDIT: Quick replies would be needed, cause I need new headphones next weekend already and it will take some days to deliver also, when ordering over Internet.

Beats suck. Get a good pair of Sennheiser headphones. I currently have the Sennheiser HD600s and they sound beyond amazing. Avoid anything by Monster as they are a corporation who get purchases due to advertisements and hype.

Sennheiser are the best headphones no doubt about it. I've got 3 pairs of sennheisers and none of which have disappointed me.

i love how he says i dont want to spend lots of money on headphones and people reccomend sennheiser.

For something cheap that has epic quality Have a look at:

Koss KSC75

Cost $30 in Australia and have the Specs of headphones that cost around $150

Downside is the design.

i bought some, love them, they look a bit tacky, but are still great headphones.

other than that, if you dont wanna spend alot of money, and your not one of those retards who thinks they can hear frequencies like a dog, or need quality that the human ear cant even hear; get some $50 headset, that way if it breaks, who cares, and if it doesnt, Bonus

It's not really about the frequency range. It's about how clearly and accurately it reproduces that frequency range. Many headphones have some issues reproducing lower end properly and usually have some weird growl and such. From what I've heard in Sennheiser, they sound just like they would if you were there. This I found out by comparing normal headphones, Sony lower end monitors, to the HD600s. The recording sample was of a mic'd bass guitar amp recording from an AKG c2000b microphone. As far as accuracy and clarity go, the HD600s won by a long shot. The Sony ones had some odd growling and nearly clicking artifacts.

Its time to grow up guys and stop spreading shit daily.

It's probably also best to avoid a lot of brands like Pioneer, Philips, Sony or Kenwood ( along with many others ) if you're buying -new- headphones. Don't get me wrong, they've all made some great headphones in the past, which I am still using, but nowadays, it's just very hard to find any decent headphones, by these brands, that can actually compete with these older models.

For example, the Pioneer SE series ( 77, not the modern ones )

I had Sony headphones, had nothing against, only that recently one stopped working.
I had in-ear headphones and I like those, so I would like to stay with these.

Also, I have one earphones(Sony MW600, Wireless via Bluetooth) in sight, that I might buy for my phone. Costs less than 40 euros in Netherlands, anyone ideas?
From internet, I read lots of good recommendations, that the quality is really good.

I've got these...they aren't like, awesome or anything, but they do the job...just make sure you keep the microphone 2-finger width away from your mouth ;)

Budget?
I'd say Sennheiser or Klipsch.

I don't want to spend more than 40 euros, also I found good headphones for that price from Sony. Check my last post.

Klipsch Image S4, Sennheiser CX3/500 or SoundMagic E10.
All have different sound signatures so make sure they suit you before making a purchase. I currently own the Klipsch S4 and Senny CX300s and can vouch for these as being excellent.

I ordered a new pair of Sony headphones, a good and known quality for a good price, just like my old headphones.
