Yeah, many parents see the removal of such distractions as a benefit to their child's learning, although personally I see it as a negative towards social development...

Exactly it's not beneficial, childhood is supposed to be fun for kids and pathetic schools like that are ruining that.

Some of the best lessons in school life are learned outside the classroom too. I honestly pity the result of closed-minded parents who place too much blind faith in a system meant to curtail human rights under the guise of educational learnings.

Thats true, in school I was always told by my teachers I was intelligent and could be doing better but I was just to lazy to, I found I learned more out of school than I did in school, when I did go all I did was mess around, wish I did better.  :roll:
