Agreed. I bet it would get many more visitors if it was at, say, "http://radio.argonathrpg.com/", or something to that effect. As it currently stands, the URL for Argo Radio has changed so freaking many times, I'm not really surprised that there are very few listeners. Those that don't actively check the forums...especially that section of it...would not be aware of the constant URL changes over the last couple years. In fact, IIRC, one of the URL's is still active, but the site is no longer maintained, so it looks like it's still the correct one for some that didn't realize the changed domain. Putting it on an official Argo subdomain would not only bring URL stability, but it would make it much easier for users to find, and there would be much less confusion. Couple that with a topic in the News And Announcements board about the change, and voila! Users will be attracted to it. Slap on a 24/7 offline stream, which ShoutCast 1 and 2 both support, and your listeners will tune in even when you aren't there DJ'ing. That will bring even more listeners since not everyone is online when the DJ's are because of time zone differences. These small changes could greatly impact Argo Radio in a positive way.

Another thing that may help, although would take more effort, is try to find ways to get it streaming IG with other MP mods in the Argo community. LU is researching a method as we speak, but I'm not sure what the other servers are up to. If you can find a way to get them on board, though...then you have a better chance at attracting both new and old listeners back to your shows.

Don't forget http://www.argonath-radio.com/, http://www.argonath-radio.eu/, http://www.argonathradio.eu/, and so forth. It's been a problem for years. There's nothing wrong with the current URL, but as said, it ends up changing due to issues over the years. It hasn't had strong stability because of that, plus it's reliant on an outside source from the community to stay up, which includes someone footing the bill. If it were on a subdomain, it would be free to host since it does not affect the cost of Argo's domains, and would rely on the community itself rather than another service, which is how Argo works with everything else.

You're not being segregated. You guys are understandably trying your best to keep things up and active despite hardships you have faced. That's not your fault. If anything it shows your dedication to bringing Argo quality radio-style music. Good job on that.

My suggestions are purely just to help you guys out, and prevent any of those hardships from happening again, nothing more. I'm not against what you guys do. If anything, I want to see it improved too! Argonath Government Radio rocks!
