Indeed. I see no reason to give any of my money to EA or any of its subsidiaries. Those working at the companies already lost their jobs when they got absorbed by EA. Even if they're still legally employed, it's only a matter of time before they get laid off and their company disbanded.

Use a vpn, problem solved.
Legal way to access piratebay website again, illegal way to magnet torrents from it.

Hotspotshield should do the trick, just make sure you have adblock.
