But really? 900 euros for regular soviet/ddr visor caps? I can imagine an original general cap costing that much, but I've never heard of prices like these for regular caps. After all, it's not German.

That is not Soviet, its an east German army peaked cap unfortunately they're only worth about 15 to 30 dollars each. Thats if they are both in good condition.

P.S. Theres a bloke at the Airsoft site I play at who uses a WW2 German loadout, thought you might like the pic.

Well, I consider the DDR to be Soviet controlled, so yeah.

That's a nice picture. Waffen SS tunic, can be recognized by the shoulder pats and the emblem on his arm. M43 cap; I have one of these, but just Wehrmacht, not Waffen SS. And yeah, that's a replica (my cap).

Of course. I'm just saying that his tunic was made so that it looks like a Waffen SS tunic. There is a difference between the SS and Wehrmacht tunics, originally, but these are so minor that in reenactment they don't look at them.

In Norway there is about 20-30 WW2 airsoft reenactors (at the offical airsoft forums atleast) The catch with having a ww2 german kit is that no symbols is allowed. Some of the leader in the club doesent see anything bad in it as we're just playing airsoft, others think otherwise, i cant do nothing else then respect their views etc.. So the plan was mainly to get the Soviet Partizan camo, use the trousers as "SS" and buy a Norwegian M52 uniform tunic (sligthly upgraded German M40 tunic) That way i'll have a "look-a-like" German kit, and a Soviet kit

In Norway the FPS limit for AEG's with no saftey distance is 400fps, mine is 410.. So i got 10m saftey distance. Bolt action sniper rifles is 700fps .. now that rifle is terrifying..

It's an M43 SS wool tunic, for 70 pounds. Not too expensive, if you ask me. Soldiers of Fortune has always offered good quality tunics, and I'm sure that if you're going to make a Waffen SS kit, this would be the perfect base. The Norwegian tunic has no chance against that tunic.

Goodluck with the kits, and check out that website for other stuff too. Reasonable prices and good quality.

Exept from pockets, the norwegian one is pretty much same without the ss shoulderboards (SS is black, this one is fieldgrey aka Heer) And it comes for half the price of the M43, allso gotta add 25% to the M43 because of taxes in norway.. Not going for authentic, just the looks, most people dont see diffrence on any of the german army's uniforms, so its not that bad ;D

For me, it's down to how it is organised and played. I've done both, but there are some pretty good paintballing centres near me, so been many times with friends and tried different game styles.

I find it's a really good group activity.

It's a great sport with groups of friends We had a day on school where we played paintball, it was fun untill we played against the "trouble makers" class, they never took hits, eventho they were coloured red and blue by all the hits ..

ANA Partizan summer uniform, really light weight uniform but its pretty cool. AK's a beast, best buy ever. The vest isnt a "correct" vest, so i ordered a SPOSN Smersh AK vest, gonna be awsome with full russian kit
