Prince Charles Gives Weather Forecasting A TryBBC Scotland has an unlikely new weather forecaster; Prince Charles.

The heir to the throne surprised viewers when he delivered Reporting Scotland's lunch time weather bulletin.

The Prince and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, had a go at the weather while on a trip to BBC Scotland's Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow.

After being introduced by BBC newsreader Sally Magnusson, the Prince gamely delivered a gloomy forecast of heavy rain for the Royal residencies in Scotland.

Looking into the camera he said: "The best of the bright and dry weather will of course be in the northern isles and the far north of the mainland. So, a little hazy sunshine for the Castle of Mey in Caithness.

"But a cold day everywhere with temperatures of just 8C and a brisk northerly wind. Thank God it isn't a bank holiday."

I have no words.
