I would like an admin + to infrom me why is public chat there if we're not allow to use it in any kind of discussion what so ever, and the simplest discussion can get you a punished.

Any issue may have multiple opinions. Some opinions, about the most silly things, can piss off some people. Whilst it is silly to get pissed off for small things like that, it is more silly to continue to piss off people.

But then why do we have a public chat, public chat was made by a clever man, if it is used correctly it can make this community strong and a one big family, it can allow you to learn about diffrent cultures and discuss diffrent opionions together, and then any smarta** trying to be fun racisit or offensive should get punished, but don't punish everyone by disallowing them to discuss diffrent topics together, few days ago in a certain argonath server me and three other people I knew nothing about had a relgion discussion with Muslims, Hindus, and Chritians, and the discussion kept for hours and we actaully learned stuff we never knew before about diffrent relgions and no one got offended, instead we all got better friends and knew more about each others. Dont disallow everyone from using such a great function and knowing more about everything in life while gamming because of thoose stuipd people. Public chat can actaully get you to know about fun facts, celebrity news, other cultures and relgions, or even cooking and hair styling all while gamming! Such a great function isn't it? To bad we're not allow to use it except in few situations.

Politics and Religion are very touchy subjects to talk about as most of us have strongs believs in those fields. That makes the discussions get very heated very quickly and that is why it is better to discuss these matters in CB and not in public chat. So that covers those two topics.

Every discussion is allowed in the public chat Omar, as long as its actually a proper discussion, not a flame war or place where trolls can show what they are capable of.
That's why post people advise you to use /cb and etc... there you can provide the quitness and the peace of that conversation.

Public chat...is for chat. If people cannot maturely speak together on it, then they are warned for it. A lot of people get passionate or angry about things which are said, and a great flame war can start.

What prevents you from discussing in a CB? I see your point, but if it is pissing off someone or multiple people, just be more level headed than the guy getting pissed off.

Nothing prevents you from discussing anything in public chat, but if there is some bit of respect in everyone, one would know when to not pick up a fight and then head to a CB channel. You can know about cultures and everything, no one disallows using public chat, it is just your notion that it is. It will be disallowed though if an argument starts or it appears that it is being used to piss off someone.

I will always take an example from players like Squeak for such a case. Squeak and some others are perfectly capable of having very good, level headed discussions on politics and religion(we all know what an explosive topic that can be!). I never ever have to step in, if I have to, they understand why completely.  Similarly, Que knows how to put his point across. I do not know if he plays ingame, but if you see his posts on forum, you will see that his posts are constructive, never meant to offend anyone.

So know that it is not disallowed, rather, when the people involved say things that should not be said, it gets disallowed.

Answer is given quite a few times
Public chat is there for discussions and all.
However some can get out of hand and then admins have to jump in.

An example might be with "trolls"
They're attempting to get people mad by talking facts that are entirely untrue or mixed up, and people then can get crazy.
Another example is the continuing wars of COD vs BF3, iOS vs Android.
And we have hypes. such as RS5 and similar
Not forgetting racism but subjective opinions are like shooting someone, they can land very hard on others.

This is why we have CB Radio's. They allow you to discuss anything inside a room with people (locked or not),
Point is that some arguments can easily be turned into a giant flame-war or ping-pong game.

It just depends on the participants, their character depends on how they respond. Someone lightheaded may explode instantly, some ask nicely to make others stop, but as time passes more insulting.
When you feel like the argument's destination becomes pointless. Stop arguing, it is that easy. attempt to ignore further discussion or take a few steps away.
Admins are there to help us prevent (further)rulebreaking, if an argument gets too out-of-control Bananas/warns/kicks/tempbans will be given.
