you have no authority put any family in your Allie list you need to RP with them in game then you are allowed to put them in Allies list.

I think you already know about recruiting and training people but anyways, if you really wanted to learn i can give you some tips ! make sure that player is good in shooting and in driving only in gang thing like street gang etc.
