The T3 and T4 test servers will be completed tonight, so then the new team cqn go full speed ahead on the project.

This is great news! I've heard really good things about the T4 update. Lets see what the future brings.

No need to.

You can extract the archive into your desktop, own documents or wherever you like to, then just launch the client from the folder.
You can therefor also use a T3 client normally and T4 client for testing.

Some help please? When i launch the 'IVMP' exe file. I get this




I fixed the above error. Installed C++ and .net Framework. Now when i try to run 'Client.Launcher.exe' it gives me some 'SecuLauncher Error' '0xC00005..' . I'm running an ORIGINAL GTA IV and It's running on CD. Also T3 runs like a charm, T4 gives this problem D:

@ricardo have u installed the newest version of dot net framework ? check in control panel -> software / programs that only framework version 1 and 2 is installed. the newest version 4 give me ( Vista 64 bit ) a lot of problems with games

Yes, i installed the newest Dot net framework before posting here, cleaned registry.. Didn't helped.

That is an error stating that access to the memory address listed after the 0xC0000005 code has been denied. The SecuLauncher error is caused by a security layer added to GTA IV by a company Rockstar Games works with to ensure the game isn't easily pirated. Make sure your game has the latest patch that IV:MP also supports.

You must re-install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package(x86), worked for me.

You shouldn't do that. The .Net Framework in that version includes updates from the older ones, and the older ones must be installed first to install the newer one. You shouldn't downgrade your computer's updates like that.

1. No worries. The security layer I was referring to is an anti-piracy measure added to the game files by Rockstar Games and another company.
2. I would recommend showing that to an IV:MP Dev on their forums. That error message shows the memory address where the issue is happening, so it might just be a bug they have yet to find.

but u could try when all is not helping. gta iv and ivmp only need version 1.1 and 2.0. and framework 4.0 make problems, especially when u have switched off the autoupdate function for windows and not be up-to-date

The .NET Framework being outdated would not fix that. It would only open the computer up to compatibility issues, security risks, and possibly break other programs by downgrading. Unless the IV:MP team hasn't updated the code to handle the latest version, which they would likely warn you about, then I would not recommend any downgrades. Even if that were the case with the code's compatibility, that falls on the IV:MP Devs to fix.

It is also unlikely that an access violation error would be caused by a different version of the .NET Framework. Usually you would get different kinds of errors if that were the issue.
