until now France is the only country where I have noticed ketchup is free of charge.

Until now I thought it was free everywhere ha. Tomatoes must be an imported item in Switzerland.

Free in america as well, along with free soft drink refills (in most places at least)

I seriously would walk out of a place if they said "Yes we're charging you for your ketchup, oh and your refills aren't free either."

Nah, I'd just get the largest bottle of Heinz 57 I could fit in my luggage and take it over there. I suppose I could live with paying for refills since it's not EVERYWHERE over here they're free, just so long as they weren't too expensive.

Still can't get over the view of the Alps...

Yes, the view was astonishingly at the top.

Mount Jungfrau stands at 11,333 feet compared with the world's highest point on Mount Everest at nearly 30,000 feet.

The air was sparkingly clean in Interlaken. On landing back in the UK, air quality was horrendous beyond belief.

Did you get any trouble breathing when active ?
I once took a train ride to 14.000 feet and the air there was thin enough to get some problems on walking up a staircase. Moving slowly solved it though, unlike for others who needed oxygen.

Yes, it comes on as part of altitude sickness. Essentially, once you pass 8,000 feet - you will feel like you've had a couple of straight whisky shots (getting tipsy for free can't be so bad!). Alongside this, I felt dizzy, my ankle swelled up and fatigue kicked in. The best thing you can do when travelling to such altitude is to acclimatise your body by taking regular breaks at different altitudes and drinking plenty of water. That said, I never had the privilege of doing this!

In all, it was a brilliant experience and I would definitely recommend visiting Interlaken.

Where did you catch a train/tram at 14,000 feet? Tibet?

It's free here in the UK. Couldn't be without my BBQ sauce.
