I guess this topic hasn't been made to discuss the possibility of a reset. If the reset has to be done because it fixes server problems, there's nothing to discuss. It will be done, that's it.

As far as I know max. cars that one player can own is 10.

As Dell told me, Cars will be reduced to 3cars pr player max, causes there is too many vehicles in the third city (Can't remeber the name lol) And makes some people crash,

Cars will be Reduced to The Ammount that we think is the best, However it was not about the city or car ammounts that were spawned, what caused some crashes was some players, that had alot of money, and around 10 cars when thoose were spawned at same spot, for exeple in their yard of the house, it could make it crashy around that area sometimes.

Some people have more than 4 cars for few reasons:
Business vehicles, like Ice cream van, or car rental company of super cars or such..
Family vehicles - super cars for members of family to share, as new members might not be able to afford 100k car.
And for role-play of course.. such as Tug the airport vehicle. I use it as land mower.
Even to beautify your own home such as fully tuned Dukes...
Boats and Helicopters also take up vehicle slot, and those are desirable.

I hope this gives you an Idea, that even 10 vehicles for some big players are not enough, as they have family and businesses to manage.

and what I mean by this is people going and buying basically 1 of every fast/fancy car just for the sake of owning one.
What we call "pigging out" it's like going to the store and buying one of every type of chocolate instead of just buying one which is inevitably the same, just a chocolate.

I completely agree.. And I think there is nothing wrong with it, as you get bored of lets say Infernus, so you want to sometimes drift with banshee, and you do not want to sell and lose that kind of money. So alternative solution would be, to add a vehicle trading system that once was suggested in ideas section, but obviously forgotten, yet supported by many.

Well, instead of vehicle trading(which is also seems like a good idea), the prices that we are buying the cars from Dealers can be raised also, harder challenges gives more fun and is much more like a permanent solution.

But if, for example, Infernus would cost around 300k after possible "reset of accounts" that would make me happy :P

Accounts are not going to be reseted on current scripts. There MIGHT be a reset on future script RS2.

I actually never asked questions, I had a thing called "blind faith".
Besides I regularily get tiny snippets of info from the high command so I knew everything included in this topic but I wasn't sure if that stuff is true/confidential so I decided to not spread it like an STD in a swinger party...

Ah screw it I'll tell a joke.
