They have now fully confirmed he was seeing a therapist, who specialized is schizophrenia. He also sent a package, with a letter and drawings of him explicitly shooting people. While, the exact location of where the drawings portrayed the shooting is not exactly know. Still only showing even more warning signs that this could have been prevented.

The problem is, such incidents rarely are prevented as nobody takes the people serious.

Only a few days ago the therapist said that a few weeks before the shooting, she had concerns that he (the shooter) was "a danger to others". Now, I'm not sure how therapy works in other countries. But I know here legally, therapist can NOT tell anyone what is said in sessions or in general between their clients UNLESS they feel someone has been victimized (by crime), they feel the person is a danger to themselves OR OTHERS. This isn't just an unless, its actually a legal obligation to report, she can face criminal charges for failing to report this in some states, again not entirely sure about Colorado. Now, nobody knows the whole story just that part has kinda got her in a shit-storm of bashing (rightfully so). In short, this could have been avoided multiple warning signs were presents weeks in advanced, based on descriptions of his behaviour, he should have been hospitalized and gotten physiatric treatments.
