Creativity is key here. Those who get the respect of players (not other "pewpewpew combat shotgun DMinger have lastname so killing other guys in enemy name is kool biznes") are the ones who use imagination for role-play. Those who need guns for roleplay are seriously lacking in the creativity department.

I only met very few players, who deathmatch directly, probably around 3-4, during my years on Argonath. People who choose to use weapons/action in a different way, are creative according to me. Examples, brawl in a gangfight instead of guns, terrorism, whether it be building siege or hostage situation. If people judge against these type of roleplay as deathmacthing, they themselves are the cause for the lack of roleplay on Argonath.

So you telling me, that a if a member is attacked by the opposite faction, let say, Corleone raids Gvardia bar, Gvardia retaliates with violence, it's RP-DM? If you mean groups, who just attack other for being Mexican for example, then i can agree upon.

The people from SRU are still here and they continue the legacy of Ben Samiir (  ). Oh, the new called "SWAT" are very very similar to SRU, i for once, was welcoming it, but now i see why Nexxt and some other ARPD people were against them.

Guys need to figure out that it's a game. And yes games do stuff up from time to time but, the important thing is. It is not real life, should it matter that you've lost your weapons? the money on this server is not real, doesn't need to be saved. Why do you think the community is " A World of its Own"? because it is..it's not the real world so you should have no worries, do as you like (within the boundaries of the rules) and have fun! no point whining and going on about money in a game!

Yep, one thing is not to take ANY game very seriously, it opens to many disastrous roads, and one event can only stop that person, if a traveler comes along and hopefully, is kind enough to help.

As Duel mentioned, we do not give out refunds. I remember a few months ago (when still having my rights), I refunded only those who got abused via /su, everything else would be their own fault (say failed /namechange or buying a ton of weapons then dying). Here is a good tip, never carry weapons worth more than 10k at a time.

Perhaps players should keep in mind that once in a time if an admin refunds them, it's with his OWN funds.. that doesn't mean it will rehappen..

And as for the roleplay part, not to whine or something, but I always prefer words (roleplay) than.. war. (shotout) so that's why at least my self, always tend to roleplay more rather than 'pew pew' every criminal I see.. I prefer approaching them even if suspected on foot, and telling them enirely friendly that I happent to see their name on wanter list of MDC etc.. and rather use guns or something that both sides may not want..

99% of all roleplay should not even include weapons, buy them at own risk and be aware of what Duel has written here.

Indeed. Nowadays everyone carries weapon, at least even 9mm (Even if its just a little tiny weapon which does almost nothing IG, RL its powerful.)
But this is the way some choose, I ain't saying that all are does shootout RP but, be aware of this.

To the topic, Duel is completely right, moaning every time about refunding your lost is not necessary. Every time server crashes you always moan over and over but never learn that you will receive anything.
Lets cut the spam and flooding and the rage all over the server and consider that, its just a game.
Admins will do every time the best to help you, but you lead them into situation which they couldn't do anything, higher administration team said no, so no.
