This topic is great example why people are not able to vote for awards as first few pages just displays favoritism within it's bottom .

If I would have to honestly vote I could clearly say there is no any family to be awarded at certain point.

As about WS/Rstar ,none of those two have done anything past year to have an attention for award,I actually haven't seen Rstar doing anything at all than few events time to time,since I joined in this community.

There you go,a honest opinion not favoritism.

I think for the most part people are just voting for the fun of it, especially as this is not something official as it stands.
Some clans/teams/organisations/families/groups (what have you) may be highly regarded for different reasons, and be noteworthy in topics such as this one for - hopefully - the right teasons.

If people want their votes to count towards their own loyalties, that's absolutely fine in this setup. It doesn't mean it "actually shows how pathetic you are".
It wouldn't be fair to judge people like that. There's no harm done.
