2 years ago during the summer, me and my brother came up with the idea to make a fake TV Show called 'Due North' focused on two cops in a small town, starring two characters called 'Jackson Fox' and 'Detective John Woods'. The general style of this was a mix between Miami Vice and Taggart, with a more sepia toned look to it.We made a promo TV introduction and put it on YouTube for a year which got good results. The general story of these episodes was keeping the village free from crime from an organised bunch of bad guys.
This summer we took the introduction off YouTube in order to make way for a film trailer version. The film storyline was that Det. John Woods got shot dead at a raid and Jackson Fox, who started to become an alcoholic to battle his depression. was determined to hunt down his killer. A new character, with the name 'Nick Colt' was drafted in to help Jackson Fox track the killler down, which eventually exposes corruption within the higher ranks of the Police Division the village was under. We had good ideas and i am determined to put them into practise, anyway i can..
