No. Atheism is not believing in a supernatural spiritual being. Atheists don't go to church, don't have meetings, etc. Atheists aren't 'united' or 'bonded' by their beliefs. They simply don't believe in a religion. How hard is that to understand?

Everyone belongs to one of the four categories. You cannot "be nothing".

Although personally, I agree that the girl's father was erroneous not to thank the medical team. This is an objective fact regardless of your religious orientation.
