Or they may they may pull a Peter Jackson and go before E1 as well.

The Mandalorian Wars, The Jedi Civil War, The Sith Empire and so on.

Would all be before E1. 5000 years, in fact. There would be so many badass characters as well: Revan, Malak, Nihilus etc.

A movie about Revan would be boss, especially considering they've already determined a final identity for him (See SWTOR)

But nah, not really no. That'd be boring because everyone knows how it was and how it ended. This E7 needs something which was barely touched in the SW universe.

And very unlikely that E7 will be another prequel, didn't you guys realise that, despite the fact the movies weren't released in chronological order, they are set in a chronological order still?

You know you're wrong if you hide behind your invisible powers you never had in real life. Those who watch me will entirely understand.

Why do I do what I do? Because I know you won't stand someone opposing you. And because you know you can't prove me I'm wrong.

Yeah, where they totally ruined his badass image in my opinion.

True, although I wouldn't mind seeing it purely for how awesome the actions scenes would be. Sure, through the games and other things people may have a general idea of how the movie would progress, but Disney could always add their own spin or plot twists.

In terms of something barely touched on, what could they really do? There's a game or book for practically everything in the SW universe.

If they wanted to be really daring, they could come up with something completely new - I'm sure Lucas wouldn't mind (and even if he did, too late now) seeing as he'll be working with them as a creative consultant.

Yes - what's your point?

How do you figure? If they went before it wouldn't be a problem, it doesn't have to be called E7 either.

I think Revan or Malak would both be incredible, but I agree with the destruction of the "badass" image, perhaps it would build his image.

I've seen a lot of people make jokes about Disney films and the new star wars. Sad to see so many blind and retarded people. Why don't they just research what films Walt Disney Company and its MANY children film companies have actually made, I think they'll actually open their eyes... or just be even more clueless to the world around them. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

There's a lot more to Disney than what we might see on TV these days... the Disney Channel maybe isn't the best to carry its past and future image, but that's for a completely different audience, for instance.

And for that matter, Disney's not all Snow White or Hannah Montana or whatever.

Disney has the potential to make something really great with Star Wars. They have a massive resource base, and it wouldn't be unlikely for them to extend collaborations with all sorts of people and other companies to come up with something that everyone would enjoy.

Pirates of the Caribbean was made by Disney, and that was an amazing set of films :)

You mean, the first one? because all the others besides the first one were awful?

E1 - 1999
E2 - 2002
E3 - 2005
E4 - 1977
E5 - 1980
E6 - 1983
E7 - 2015?

Just seems a bit... weeeeird. Ep 1, 2 and 3 were made to fill a gap in the history of the Star Wars series, what will an Ep 7 add to the saga? Didn't they happy end this sh!t?

There's essentially endless SW content they can make a film from, Dutchy. The expanded universe of the SW franchise is ridiculously huge.

They could make 7 a follow on from 6, or they could make it before the events of 1.

I enjoyed the first one the most, only one I didn't like was the last.

Very true indeed, they could make another trilogy with the possibilities, maybe even more.

Empire Strikes Back will always be the best for me. But, you seriously liked Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, but not Revenge of the Sith?

Be attentive, I was talking back at Teddy's statement of preE1 prequel.

Do you think it would make sense to produce a Harry Potter book titled "Harry Potter 2 and the shitstain of volandemort" and speak about pre-Harry Potter time?

I just wonder if theyll take stuff from the books that come directly after the films ...
Or will they make something "totally" new?

As far as I remember reading about it not too long ago, they are planning on an original story.
