My contact list is now fucking flooded with the same with the same contact coming twice. Man they should have done something about this.

Man I was running MSN while I had merged my MSN contacts with Skype, I was receiving messages on both at the exact same time.
It's probably your high ping playing up and giving you issues.

What I meant was I've got everyone both on MSN and Skype. I merged 'em and there I had both MSN and Skype address flooded of the same person.

And now I'm getting serious lag issues after updating Skype.

I mean the protocol, not the program. If someone messages you on Skype to your Skype address using the MSN/WLM protocol, it's just as slow.
