PC Problem... :s

Ey guys.At Friday i choosed to clean up my PC from dust etc.Shutted it down directly from the electricity instead of waiting it to shut down by itself.After that,putted everything together etc and tried to run it.It starts like everything is okey,but the monitor doesn't run.The button,where's the little light keeps blinking,like the PC is not running.Tried with another graphics card,but nothing.

Any help?If you don't understand what i mean,ask me and i'll try to tell you better what's up.

So basically, you don't have any images on your monitor, but according to you, it does boot like it normally does?

Make sure you didn't forget any power connectors on the motherboard, such as the little 4pin connector, if your motherboard has one of those. How did you clean the components? What exactly did you take out, and with what did you clean it? You might also was to try to reboot the BIOS, you can do this by ejecting the little battery on your motherboard, wait a minute or 2 and put it back.

Well,i run the PC,but the monitor keeps being black,and the light keeps blinking like the PC is not on.
I've made everything.. attached fans,graphics cars,everything,but no.I'll try with the battery,but do i have to remove it,run the PC and then put it back on?

I think my graphics card has fucked up,and i will need a new one,but ain't sure.

Well, how did you clean the components? With a vacuum cleaner?

Make sure there's no power on the PC when you remove the battery. Once it's out, just wait 2 minutes and put it back it. Do not boot the PC while it's out.

Nop,by myself.I've blown the dust by myself out of the fans and the whole motherboard.

Hmm, okay. I personally use a brush to get all the dust of, but that's not exactly a recommended method because of static electricity.

If the battery thing doesn't work, just reconnect everything, there might be an issue there.

By the way, could I have the specifications of your PC?

I've had this problem before, you probably plugged it into the hole for the integrated video card. Just put it in the blue hole that's not vertical, but horisontal. It's lower, over the 4 usb ports you have on the back of your tower. Worked for me.

1GB RAM,1GB Video Card Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 430 or G430... Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz processor,80GB Hard disc... Windows XP SP3.

Since you cleaned it?

Then there's something wrong with your graphics card..

Perhaps your GPU has an extra power source that it needs, as in a 4pin or 6pin plug which you haven't connected?
Or the card itself is damaged, especially if the fan hasn't been running at all times.

The nVidia GeForce GT430 doesn't need any kind of external power.

Then he may have an issue with the card itself, or perhaps the small 2pin plug which powers the GPUs fan from the board.

It's the fan. As soon the fan doesn't work, the motherboard will not start that graphic card up for security reasons.. It will heat up in no time.

And why were you playing with the CPU if you don't know how to install it?  :roll:
