The Arcani Family

The StoryChicago, Wednesday 25th August 1976George Arcani, a well respected Capo of the Arcani Family is walking the streets of Chicago.
Next to him walks his wife Melissa Rogers. It was a sunny day and everything was going well.
No warfare between the families, peace had returned to the streets. The couple was on their way to the bakery,
until at a certain moment the sound of screeching tires filled the streets.
George turned around and noticed it was another family's car approaching.
A guy hanging out of the window with a tommy gun. He realized that they were there for him and as the first shot was fired
he took a dive towards Melissa in an attempt to cover her. Everything was going so fast,
people where screaming, glass from the building next to them was flying all over the place.
George was on his knees holding Melissa and as he opened his eyes he looked at her.
A cold shiver ran down his spine as he felt the energy leaving her body. She died.
As he tried to stand up he felt an unbearable pain in his stomach. His hands were covered in blood
and everything started to fade, he only heard sirens approaching from a distance. He also died at the scene.
Their son Jack, 2 years old was at home that moment. He was brought to an orphanage.
There they decided to fly him over to the state of San Andreas, so he would never be confronted with the tragedy of his parents' death.
Los Santos, Friday 3rd February 1978He grew up in Los Santos with the Rover family, they had decided to tell him that they had adopted him,
because they thought he deserved to know the truth. At school he turned out to be a rather good student
and he developed a good reputation. He worked his way to the top and even managed to start his own company.
Las Venturas, Tuesday 12th May 1998Rover Industries. A company that developed, produced, and marketed drugs
or pharmaceuticals licensed for use as medications.
At a certain moment he was confronted with the local mob, and they made him an offer... he couldn't refuse.
He started using his company as cover for a major illegal drug trading cartel.
This went on for a couple of years and life was going extremely well for Jack.
Las Venturas, Sunday 11th November 2012Jack was filling in some paperwork at his office when he noticed that the security screens were switching to black one by one.
The panick button located under his desk wich was supposed to seal off his office wasn't working.
"You pay a fortune for a button that is supposed to make all your problems go away,
only to realize you have payed for a fake sense of security." - He said.
He opened his drawer and took out his Silenced 9MM as he heard men approaching on the other side of the door.
A few seconds later two men entered the room. It were the kind of guys you see on television,
the jacket, the hat, the gloves and the look on their faces.. yup these guys were mobsters.
"perhaps you want to put that weapon away Mr. Rover" -One said.
Jack checked the gun, it wasn't loaded. He realized they must have been there before to remove the ammo,
and so he thought they were not there to kill them. They explained Jack that he was a lost son of the Arcani Family
and that the Don had requested his presence. They forced him to give up his business life and fulfill his duty within the family.
Chicago, Monday 12th November 2012He was taken to Chicago to meet the Don, still he didn't want to give up his luxurious life
as president and chairman of Rover Industries.
But he figured that if he didn't coöperate he would probably end up somewhere in a sewer
to be treated like a traitor of some kind, so he decided to play along for a while.
He managed to contact some of his employees from the shady drug business
and asked them to come over. Jack had the power and money to arrange some firepower
so he decided to wipe out Don Arcani and his entourage once and for all.
after all he felt like he was guilty for the dead of his real parents anyway.
Jack felt nervous as he was about to attempt to wipe out an entire mafia family.
He looked at his watch and knew his men were outside ready to storm the place.
11 o'clock AM, It was time..
Suddenly windows of the building got smashed in from all sides and smoke bombs were thrown inside.
Jack could hear shots being fired from all over the place. He took a deep breath,
reached for his Silenced 9MM, opened the door of Don Arcani's office,
aimed his gun and said "Disciplina Arcani" As he fired a single shot that went straight trough the Don's heart.
"Disciplina Arcani" meant "Discipline of the Secret", the family slogan. Then there was only silence.
His men had managed to fight their way to the office and joined Jack.
It was then when he realized that he was just the same as the them.
Standing there..looking at the crest of the family he had just wiped out.
He couldn't just walk away as he knew it had become his duty to make sure
this family did not vanish like dust before the wind and decided to take over the place of the Don.
He knew his parents would have wanted it that way.
Las Venturas, Friday 16th November 2012Jack had returned to Las Venturas to sell out his company. He had made some important phone calls
and managed to make some of his friends join the family. Starting off small but willing to become one of the best.
This was a day the life of Jack and everyone involved changed and there was no way back now, they knew that.
Hoping Jack's experience from his past would help him with the new beginning of the Arcani Family.
