If you look at what people consider as religion or "being religious" most discords around the world that originated from religious grounds should not have ever happened. But like with any place where there are groups of people with different views, conflict was inevitable.

I suppose there is sometimes no escaping your own cultures/backgrounds, and if these kinds of ideologies are passed on from one generation to the next we would probably not find a resolve. It feels a lot better to be on the outside of it, almost looking neutrally.


I wouldn't say it is religion's fault as while it originated from such basis, it has evolved into something larger and its original reasons are probably only used loosely.

If the blame was to be placed somewhere perhaps just point at the people.

I only say one thing, you cannot say an atheist is doing charity to guarantee a place in heaven as he does not believe in, and as far as I can tell, religion only forces people to do stupid shit. Don't come with the inspired bullshit, in the end, Religious people come up to two groups: The people that actually believe in all the bullshit, and the retards who do it just so they can walk around saying their good and by the "law" have their place in heaven.

Again. Religion is just a (quite pathetic) way humanity found to explain everything it can't reach.

How did myths start? Their aim was explaining things man couldn't get, lightings for example. Religion is just a myth, with the aggravating that it is used to control people.

I would like to mark the meaning of the word "myth". It derives from Greek "mythos" and it is a story told to a passive audience, that will just accept it.
