These are not the fault of any games. These are the fault of mentally ill people not getting the needed medical help and attention they deserve, as well as a failure in the system from preventing them from accessing things that they are unable to safely handle, such as lethal weapons.
That is the main thing. And the system should be thoroughly revised to ensure such access is limited for anyone but those who have been screened to handle them. It is not something that will change fast, as the amount of weapons available is huge, and not many will be willing to give them up.
But the false safety that causes such dramas to be repeated over and over again should change.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

Games don't create these fanatics. If anything, the downfall of society and the lack of respect for fellow human beings is the cause of that. Criminals will often use games as a scapegoat for their actions...but the truth is that any right-minded individual could easily play these games and know the difference between the imaginary game world and real life. If they can't, then they deserve mental assistance and care, and shouldn't be playing games in the first place.
Right so you're going to blame Obamacare for the shootings? Try the relaxed gun laws. :poke:

Here's a letter from one of the kids that got shot. The writing at the top of the letter is Hungarian. It's f**king sad, family went abroad and now have to deal with the fact that their own kid got killed in a school, where they should be safe...

Sorry to disappoint, but there were already pictures of someone named "Adam" and "Ryan" with similar texts. These may be either fake or from prev events.

You know you're wrong if you hide behind your invisible powers you never had in real life. Those who watch me will entirely understand.

Why do I do what I do? Because I know you won't stand someone opposing you. And because you know you can't prove me I'm wrong.

Gun laws are truely tricky. Right to firearms are part of the bill of rights. It is really really really hard to  amend the bill of rights, and impossible to remove them. You, nor the government can infringe the bill of rights. Its truly a failure in the system, when it was written it was fine as these incidents didn't happen. However, in this new age its pretty much im possible.

Also, gun laws wouldn't have stopped this. He wasn't able to get these weapons legally, CT has one of the strictest gun laws in the United States. He took the weapons from his mother, who had them for a "legitimate" purpose. Now, I only see 2 legitimate purposes to own a gun, I live in New Hampshire and love hunting season. I don't want to have to wait 6 years to get approved to go hunting. The other purpose I feel is legitimate is leisure and game. So at a shooting range pretty much, however if you do this I think they should remain locked at the range in a personal locker. For hunting, the weapons should be locked in safe away from mentally disabled/thieves/children. Personal Defense? Bullshit reason. Also, Semi Automatic weapons? No reason or need to have these, outrageous.

Part of the bill of rights? Oh right so the UK, France, Germany, so on are also very free countries in the world, we should all be allowed to have a shotgun under our pillows.. The relaxed fire arms laws in America arnt needed, it's just America trying to hold onto a tradition they've had since the British Empire left, a tradition which is causing more problems than benefits.

What does Obamacare have anything to do with this? I never said it was a specific healthcare plan. This is a worldwide issue. How many countries can you name which provide free, decent healthcare to the mentally sick and unstable? Now how many countries exist in the world? Exactly my point.

Well I just heard something interesting on CNN, apparently his mother was found in her house, the guns he had were licensed to her and she was only a "part-time" teacher there.
Still no idea why he would go to the school and cause all of this...
Apart from that, why were the weapons not locked up somewhere inaccessible to people other than his mother.

I think legally they are supposed to be locked up. It is indeed sad that they weren't...

I'd rather not discuss why it categorically isn't in this thread.

If the guy was a teen it is possible that he was a bully victim. If not, well, an idiot.

Agreed. We also don't want to get into a political discussion, so we should probably get back to the original topic itself.

As for the incident, police have been hinting at knowing more information regarding why he went on the rampage, however they have yet to release any details. Other "anonymous" sources have also claimed that there was no letter of intent left behind, which is commonly done in these situations prior to happening.

Adam actually attempted to legally purchase a rifle last week but were denied..

This blame for the attack should lie on his mother as well for failure to lock the firearms up.

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Without the NHS you'd be paying thousands for health care.
