The board list could easily be shortened. There are some redundant things in the list that are no longer needed, such as the extra links to other community sites when they are already at the bottom of the page.

Could be sorted, for example create a board specifically for non-GTA servers/games and give each difference game/server it's own childboard..?

Here is a bar mod for SMF. It gives the advantage for people to chat but most it has a list with different languages that with teamworking with Google Translate it translates the whole page automatically to the language clicked.You don't have to do it all the time as if you do it one time when you move to different pages in forum it will be translated automatically.

If it's an issue, then hide the boards from showing up on unread topics.

No, it removes it. Unless you specifically look for them, you'll never, ever find a russian post anywhere on forums with them disabled. Example shown: My recent post sidebar, my recent post bar at the bottom and an example of a post on groups section that doesn't show up on either place.

So yeah, unless you take the time out of your day to stare at last posts made in the Russian board, noany Cyrillic.

   We maybe give many attention to a russian forum,headmasters know their jobs and what they do. I my self,I semi-agree with "We are a International Server, why russians have a different forum?" Or such. To don't give that much sense and people agree with it i suggest a bar that users can chat but the main use is to have a "Choose Language" option that there are many languages,which translate the whole page.
   
   I don't know if Russian site/forum gets updated with the posts,but do they just make their one topics or have that one we talk and make? If not doesn't that keep them back from what the other community does?

   I don't know if Russians are special,i don't wanna by racist or something but Russians are like every country in the world. I don't disagree with that,but German,Chinise,British,French,Hellen are all the same and it would be difficult to have an each forum with that language.

   I suggest to keep the things calm use that bar which translates the whole bage and don't do discriminations between countries.

I really think there should be a separate forum and site from the ArgonathRPG.EU site.

Where all the current Argonath servers are based on the English language, the Russian server obviously isn't going to be. I think the main thing that unifies all the current servers as a community, is language. I've tried almost every Argonath server and because we all speak English, I could, and there's automatically a unifying athmosphere.

If the Russian players from the Russian server would come to the international server, then that's great, and there's no problem as long as they speak English like everyone else. However, there's no way for that to work the other way round unless you speak Russian. Because of that, I think the future Russian part of Argonath should become sort of a community of its own, exactly like ParUni, where the relationship between the two is close, the players are sometimes players on both servers, but where the communities from the servers itself are different from each other.

Just don't think something this big can be a small part of a relatively small community, but that's just my vision.

I see where you're coming from and this works great on an idividual scale but when we're talking hundreds to thousands of people, this simply doesn't work.


Another thing to consider is people new to the community, they logg on site / forum and see russian everywhere, think it's russian community and leave.
Russians logg on and vice versa.

Keep them seperate and you'll avoid all problems, except the fact that the "russian community" will look tiny at start.
But atleast it'll look russian and not english.

I still dont get why is this even needed if it's real. It's waste of bandwith that we already lack. I can count all the regular Russian players on fingers of my right hand. Do you really want to set up a server for 5 people?

There's no harm in having more outlets for the community, especially if it will enable us to establish links with other parts of the world. Although, when it comes to sustained development I'd think that unless there is a dedicated team, it would be better to put all the energy into what we have now as all areas would invaluably benefit from it.

The audience is there, it's just a matter of building the bridge and holding it up, provided it can be done viably.
