I will comment on Detroit : like chicago and New york , want to see a nice skyline go USA , but pistol looks like you live in a rough part of town (looks like ganton in a different climate )
BTW Dune calling chicago puny ????? I am from a town with 100.000 inhabitants and we certainly dont have a building that once was the highest in the world
Always been a big Chicago fan (GO BULLS) (love to make a roundtrip in the US one day )
And Obi You dont have to post a pic of your village , the pics i took are also 10 miles away from my city (ill put some up from my city later ) and I do believe the welsh countryside is certainly beutifull so ....
About Marcs : our country may be small but we can acheeve great thing , when watter is involved
I try to comment on all but I probably forgot some f you , but my general impression is you are euther from beitifull Countryside towns or massive Cities with spectacular buildings , and Luca Born in venice ... now thats a story !

are those weed fields?
Nope , but look at Marcs pictures of the 'Westland' in some of those greenhouses there are indeed weedplants , the police regularly finds them (growing weed with the intent to sell is ILLEGAL even here ! So the weed that the coffeeshops sell is usualy illegaly grown but that is a whole different story , so dont start a discussion about it here ! If you want i will explain the truths and myths about dutch policy in your

topic)

OK now my town / city (whatever 100k is ) Its no Venice but its Home

the church in the city center

Marketplace and glaspaleis (glasspalace) looks like a normal building now , nothing special , but when the guy designed in 33 people thought he was nuts

from the side the same building (I have a soft spot for it )

It used to be a Coal miners town (1898-1974) stunning contrast now its one of the greenest cities of the Netherlands
