These are from my high school (Hindley High School) and im sure most of you will remember old school rules and if you go to school still you can post em heres my top 5


1. All ICT Homeworks must be made in Microsoft word and a full license must be purchased (So no using Open Office and saving in .doc they will find out )
2. Linux is Banned all together! using linux at home and using it to complete IT homeworks gets you a F (Nazi like rules)
3. No Ipods even without cameras. This is just plain retarded nuff said,
4. No Outside Foods or Drinks (No Dr Pepper? Aww)
5. No Thumb Drives containing .exe or .bat files (So i cant even fully convert my files to .doc Fuck you)

Yeah they ask you to take in the Key you get when purchasing it and if its fake your homework for the year all get F even if you buy it

Almost everyone gets it for free with windows but i dont use windows because i think its wrong to pay companys like microsoft and some people convert it at home but i cant find software to make it convert fully to a .doc in linux

If I was you I'd tell them they're more than welcome to buy me a new copy of Windows 7/8 and Office, however I wouldn't be able to afford it.
Also if they grade you down for it, make a complaint to the education board.

Only reason they give you an F is because it isnt made in supported software because they cant risk opening it and i know its stupid but the teachers told me straight that they have no problem with it its just the IT technicians playing it safe
