Fixed.
There were also 3 other food shops selling this product with the incorrect spelling, they have also been fixed.

About the new drugs scripts.
You can !growweed again after your weed has successfully grown but has not been collected yet. It's wierld that you can do this.

The product price icon shows up when I'm getting there, but when I get near the machine it disappears.
Maybe it was never there and its just my imagination. :conf:

I dont know if you think this is a bug, but to me, it is.
SWAT skins cannot get into normal cop cars. SWAT themselves are cops, aren't they?

!bribe command has a high minimum, make it 250 minimum. But make also an !decline and !accept command.

Well, I used it some times to get unwanted and keep the weapons I stoled from dead officers.
But you can use it as a fine.
suspect someone for reckless driving and ask them to pay a fine using bribe.

Well, it's silly to have cops not being allowed in different types of cop cars. All types of cops should have the rights to use any cop car.

You probably know bout these 2 glitches but thought i better post em anyways.
The M60 firing speed glitch. when you right click sometimes it makes you fire faster.
and the stubby shotgun crouch glitch

OK today somebody wanted magic mushrooms from me... so i restocked and everything and did !senddrugs JohnDoe magic mushrooms 2
and it kept saying "error, invalid amount" even if i did have 2
the senddrugs does work with weed and LSD...
anyway you can fix this thing?

That is probably clan protection, speak to the leader of your clan about it so they can add you to the clan list.

That is because the name of the drug should only be 1 word, magic mushroom is 2 words.
When you type "!senddrugs JohnDoe magic mushrooms 2", the script will think the price you wish to sell the drug/s for is "mushroom".
You should type !senddrugs JohnDoe magic 2 or !senddrugs JohnDoe mushroom 2

The pickups currently respawn 2 seconds after picking them up, we can reduce this but does it really get abused?

That superfast Hp taking is a bug alright. It doesn't matter if it gets abused or not, it should be deleted permanantly from the game, because it wrecks the concept or roleplaying. People would just keep taking HP packs rather than the paramedic, or food taking. If you're not convinced, take this as an example. Someone gets shot 3 times by a 9mm, and falls off a 3 storey building. He finds a car luckily, but struggles to drive to a place to recover. But he finds this "magic" HP package, and takes it, then finds himself all fully recovered, legs unscratched and bulletholes disappears with bullets falling off the body, and now doesn't even seem like anything happened to him. Where's the roleplay in that?

yes it does. There are 2 types of freezes in VC:MP. The revoked commands. And the normal freeze.

And also sometimes freeze doesn't protect the player, I've seen some frozen players kill each other, but it's not very common though.

yes it does. There are 2 types of freezes in VC:MP. The revoked commands. And the normal freeze.
Revoke is the one used to lock cars. The other is the Admin freeze, it doesn't protect the player. The revoke as far as I tested it protects.

There is one type of freeze, and one type of setvehicledoor status.
Players can shoot when they are frozen.
We have stopped development on the current version of VC:MP, we will be continuing development when the next version is released.

That problem is in the game it self, bullet damage ain't realistic. players can take with lots of shot before dieing.
So pizza can't be realistic too.

Drugs are only things what seems to be realistic. :weed: Cause some drugs take pain off.

Food was just to please SA:MP players. That way, they have same effect has SA food.

And have you ever thought about the fact that food taking HP can be reconfigured by scripts, unlike the HP packs which puts you back to 100hp and that can't be changed?

thers a bug in script. look @ the Junk Yard and look at truck then u see nothing but if u ram it.. then a second truck comes up :trust:

Police station door. VCPD HQ sation door. Sometimes I get stucked in that door and I can't kill myself or nobody else can't. Can you fix it??
This is a bug in either the VC:MP client or Vice City itself and as klaus said, would not be possible to fix server-side.

Downtown ammunation is bugged, when you buy large amounts of weapons, you are sent flying through the roof.

That is a bug in the VC:MP client, there's nothing we can do server side to solve that.

Cops always have the advantage on Criminals. If they camp, use nades

There is more than one shop in the game. Why waste hp and time trying to get in the shop when you can go to another one.

Only what you must do to get to shop is shoot that criminal. It is easy ;)

SWAT: m60, Stubby, nade, etc..
Criminal: Shotgun, Stubby.. etc..
Guess who has advantage ?.. The answer is simple.. Swat has.. Also if criminal wants to buy weps from shop.. swat can just choose class <1-4> and keep restocking the ammo + armour..
Also there are many ammunition shops.. why to go in one shop only ?
Well i wud like to kill criminals while they are camping in shops..
but i wont kill criminals who keep running all the time..
Im skilled in killing criminals who fight with me 1 on 1 or 2 on 2..
Also the criminals who run in car while i have m60.. they just blow up in their cars..

I don't like criminals who are always running. It's still fun to hunt them down with the M60 or blow up their car like Hawk does.

Im the total opposite. Im not really that great with 1 on 1 but I love chasing Criminals down and P.I.T Removing them so they spin off the road hitting the curb which makes them flip over two times exploding in mid air before they can say "ow!"

I like to Head shot them inside the cars without even hitting the car it self.

I just hit them from the left side of their back of the car. That usually sends them spinning.

Before I get jailed (inside the big cell) I ran once to a wall (near the exit of that cell) and suddenly I found myself past that wall and into blue hell. Then, I found myself outside of the department. When I am not jailed. Although it dosn't work all the time, I sure works if you try it. I dunno if this is a bug or a glitch, but I just posted it in here. :m4: :poke: :war: :sig: :pop:

I crashed and it has 65 bulletsz .....
and when u went on drivers duty i had infinite bulletszz .....

The Date is July 6th/08 and what happend was i was at the bank and deposited $50 I already had $300948 in it and then after i did !deposit 50 the server stoped like working no script or anything when i loged in later the scripts were up i signed into the game with my account and went to the bank and said $0 WTH??? how am i supposed to get my monney back

When you buy weapons from a weapon store, you won't lose anymoney. And if u buy about 10 times, u will fly into the ceiling.

that happens in many of the staircases in vice city. I know some of them, and they all do teleport to little havana only..

If you do /fall on car window, you will die slowly. I think this is in client but still want you guys to know :)

As you all know, there is a general bug in VC:MP that sometimes freezes or takes you out of the server in-game.
I know that this has nothing to do with Argonath RPG's systems etc. and of course claim no responsibilty in creating those errors but I have noticed something:
This bug (when it occurs in Argonath's server) is different to how it happens on the other servers. It seems to be much worse. It usually makes my PC completely freeze and the only way of getting my PC to work again is by turning it off and restarting (which can be a big hassle). In the other servers I can get of the game by pressing "Escape" or using "Control , Alt. Del.". Then I can re-connect to the server and play normally. This sometimes happens continuously and some of my friends have also noticed this. I am sorry I can't go into more depth on this situtation, I just found it odd that this bug is more severe on Argonath's server.
Also, when I load up the VC:MP system (whole internet server list) on some days Argonath doesn't come up at all, the locked TEST SERVER (Alpha 1 etc.) is always there but Argonath can't be found on the server lists. Sometimes it comes back when I restart VC:MP.
If I can help you in any other way, I am more than happy to! :cop:

I think I found a glitch:
In VC:MP, near one of the underground sections by Escobar International Airport, my friend took me on a bike to perform some awesome (apparently) stunt. I was sitting at the back of the bike and man I was scared..... he went up the side and crashed into the roof (mind you the first few times the only thing he managed to stun was my blood; by drawing half of it out). On the final go (by this point I was nearly dead) we managed to go straight through the roof and ended up on the road on top!! Is that realistic? Do you reccomend we try that out in real life to confirm the results? :roll:

Hello everyone, some of you know me some of you dont, as of right now i am rejoining the world of VC:MP, when will that change who knows, however i have an issue i'd like to bring up that has been bugging the crap out of me, while in VC:MP i cannot see players names or health bars above players' heads. and its not just in argo, it's on all servers, ive tried everything, f4, alt f4, reinstalling vice city, and VC:MP, but met with no success, if anyone has any suggestions, please help me, its kinda difficult being a cop and not knowing who i'm chasing.

There's actually a way to get out of it without restarting. But you need to memorize the shortcut-key for 'Log-off' in your Windows. Once it freezes, press the 'Windows Start' key, and then press your shortcut key to make Logoff, after that, drag your cursor to the middle of the screen until it changes to a hand then left-click, OR just simply press after you press that shortcut key.
After that, log back on your username of your computer. You'll be able to see the tools bar in bottom of your screen, use the task manager (CTRL ALT DEL) and finish the GTA:VC. ;)
Basically what hes saying is, when you game crashes you'll be left with the frozen screen at times. What you need to do it this:
Press the windows key - press L - then press enter twice.
This will log you off hopefully and then the frozen screen will go. Log back in and close Vice City program down.

There's a easie way to do it without needing log off, Just do:
Ctrl + Alt + Del, it will open the Task manager;
Then press G, it will select GTA Vice City;
Press Del, So it Will shut it down;
Windows will say: Program Not responding, You Can finish now or cancel;
Press Left arrow, then enter, you'll be Selecting Finish now option using left arrow, then, when you press enter, it will shut VC down.
If it doesent work once, try again.
(It works everytime i use it)

Sometimes a cop/SWAT is on the wanted, you earn money when you kill those cop/SWAT too, Mostly their crime is None.

It should say that the cop is corrupt. Corrupt cops can be killed for cash..

Cops can not be suspected.
But when cops kill an innocent person they become corrupt, meaning money can be gained from their death.
I'm not sure why you was warned Salmonella. If you are sure the cop was on the wanted list you shouldn't of been warned.
It might of just been a 1 off bug, but its never happened before. :neutral:

Yea, corrupt cops can be killed if they are on the !wanted list, as mentioned above. You can check this using
!crime.
I just found soemthing odd. When you are near a vehicle with sirens (with a player driving it) and you press Shift, the sirens of the other vehicle turns on. You can activate sirens of police cars and ambulances without actually being inside it! :lol:

Yeah i noticed that too for sometime ago. But it will only be like that to you :). Other player will not hear that :D

If I understand you, the answer is that it is just a glitch and the other player has simply glitched you by pretty much sitting on top of you. You are sharing the same seats and if you keep pressing a button repeatedly to enter a vehicle, it can sometimes happen with multiple passengers. It is a common VC:MP bug, not just Argonath RPG.

I don't get what's the problem.
If you're talking about the money indicator on the HUD, it is impossible to fix. It doesn't work well with negative cash.

Fixed that, turned the Speeder by the fishing jetty to the other side. Should be fine now. As well as for the yatch in the Marina, I replaced for a Squalo since it wouldn't move, regardless of the position.

Total amount of cars in the server is 176. The maximum limit for aircraft stability is 180. However it is a dynamic limit so I want to be a little far from it.
- Public commands should be blue (Like in 1.1)
This is impossible to do. As I have said and will say once again, messages all have the same color due to a bug with VC:MP PAWN. If I put a red command message then a blue one, the whole chat will become blue.
- /me needs a different colour
Not possible, as I said above. /me does get changed to green due the same chatbug.
- Weapons are too expensive
Don't forget that 1.1's ammunations were bugged. Prices should be on the same level as 1.1, even though you have to pay for them. Also notice that in 1.1 you would always get 50 rounds regardless of the weapon. I have set different amounts on PAWN 1.2.

But whenever i try the command, it works :S.
So i dunno where is the bug? Please try to find out in which case the player does not get wanted...
It would narrow down my search for the fix :).
Cases could be:
1. Cop suspects player...player later commits a murder.
2. Cop suspects player..player later commits a cop kill.
3. Cop suspects player..player later commits a Robbank.
4. Cop suspects player...player later does nothing.
These 4 cases i could think of, and ive tested they are working (still you can beta test them again).
Theres probably another case which doesnt come in my mind, and causes bug...think pls :(

The bugs that happen "sometimes" are hardest to fix, so when you guys encounter that, please try harder to find how exactly they happened.
Try to remember the steps in which you encountered the bug.
Just check the case in which they "always happen", it narrows down my search :).
Adn keep reporting bugs asap on forums, been too long in beta stage :(

I meant that newbies will use /c buy lottery ticket and they'll see that message coming up ( Because in the List it says Lottery Ticket and not lot or lo, they usually go for the two words, lottery and ticket ). I didnt say i wanted to buy tickets alone :L, but i get your point.
As for the tempban, i think it happens when i am in cop skin, and no, i didnt have a device on him.
And for login kick, it crashes the server still.... As for the time i write this, a guy just got kicked because he failed to login, and the server crashed.

Its not possible to pay you back. The money that you spent went to the owner of the Business.....when you sell it, you cant just pull back money from his pocket.
If you need refund, talk to the owner of the business....it is his choice, he can pay you back only if he wants.
Since, right now no-one is the owner of car business...you cant be refunded.
But since, you didnt know about this thing...maybe you are refunded by the admin team.....

Yea, what happened was Dav put his Maverick (ID 1) on bid - I bought it (not defining any price), and I seemed to get it for free, still with the money.
Edit: Hmm, I think that is how the script is supposed to function Dav. Hopefully we can put a more secure system in place (in case) sometime in the future.

He was undercover. VCID can choose the duty even if they are civilian.
The point is to make them appear as civilian, even though they are cops.

Oh! i don't know if this is called bug or not but i can go into the wall and then fall in the hell and then back to the street and this happened in Fire dept and Love fist (where they record musics) and the door of Washington police dept :lol: i call this glitches!! :cool:
and i hope you make codes for the small racing cars or RC Planes :D it will be funny!! ;)

Scripts cannot distinguish between valid and invalid ads. There could be a five-second waiting time before printing consecutive ads.

I happened to me only once, but it's a bit annoying to receive "Cops are too close! Lose you tail!" and other new heat-script informations while not being wanted.
/kill is the only solution as relog didn't worked for me.

Today i found Montana HQ and tried /c weplist, it worked, so told bass and he confirmed it. We decided to test it out with some weapons and it worked, so everyone is invited to that HQ.

I take it this is a problem with the property rather than the script, since all other gang HQs are working as they should be.

There's a major bug involving gang HQ's, they are all accessable to everyone just by using one of commands, which I won't mention here till Stormeus/aXXo is online.
