A Six from me.

I'll just get around just like those few days of downtime. To be honest it helped me a lot , especially to play other games instead hanging around pointlessly.
And we will get separated all to different sides , and there's no chance a whole community would be able to stay together , even half of it couldnt, just tiny non connected groups of few people.

Hevar you need a girlfriend :D You're too deep.

Because of Argonath and some TV series I decided to study intelligence. The impact is big indeed.

Other games and servers. That's where I'll go. Also, Argonath tends to be very stress inducing, a break like this when it goes down is quite nice. Nothing can go wrong since server is off, no issues to deal with. Beautiful.

A lot/10

My English improved much more than I thought I was capable of. It's not perfect. Argonath helped me grow up, become mature, which I can be a total opposite of at some times.

It just came in my mind that they are giving hope to people of getting unbanned by review date of months and when their time arrives they denied them saying you're not changed, those people get mad because they waited this much time and do something with the server, or who doesn't know the worst behavior of Andeey with banned people in unban section.

I'm sure most of the players blame the Administration team without a proper reason.

The ones who want to shit on players/Admins+, mention names and say why instead of giving hints, i mean why don't you blame yourself, perfect guy.

Post by: Vitorrio on March 06, 2017, 07:48:32 pm
I would rate the change in life part 4/10, but the quality of the experience would go around a 7/10. I admit, probably my English level hasn't been improved very much, but I had been given some perspectives on how people around the world feel about others and communities, plus that I had seen that many like to mimic the pop culture in the United State, especially memes and words. Anyway, I found some nice people and I found some others that I wouldn't like to meet so often.
Argonath tends to be very stress inducing, a break like this when it goes down is quite nice. Nothing can go wrong since server is off, no issues to deal with. Beautiful.
That's exactly how I feel (actually, it starts to be a matter of the past) when I get in the server sometimes.

Also, I hope that you don't mind if I point out some stuff that needs some thought about the community:
Quote from: CVP12345
I've heard people from the SA:MP community that they got bored of so many commands to learn instead of roleplaying them and using their imaginations. I've heard a guy say on a deleted topic that going to RS 4.1 (I think) was a big mistake because everyone had to recover and he simply just got bored of that. Although, he did say that he felt the update was necessary because it was synchronizing with the new features of SA:MP. Anyway, I've observed that many players understand that by improving the Roleplay we need to add more and more commands. Not even close! In my opinion, I think that I know what the root to that problem is. We made them understand that way. Instead of going and leading by example on how to understand each other and be nice with one another, we focused ourselves on the money and on being more important than we were. Who remembers the old admin DeeJay? Well, he was thinking he was very important, but when he left the admin duty, nobody remembered him, because he wasn't nice to them and didn't help the community that much. One more thing, then I'll rest my case for now. Many of you are suffering of the "member berry disease", meaning that you like remembering stuff a bit better than it really was.
The member berries
(http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/021/551/berries.JPG)
You know, people after a war think that it was terrible, but, after decades from that, they think that it was an awesome thing that happened to their lives (or maybe not that far). Anyway, I don't find roleplaying so interesting in a game, but I've seen the "old days" roleplay type. It is good, but, quite long.
Too bad we can't really interact with each other in a game. :(
The Roleplay doesn't have to do that much with the scripted jobs. I myself don't have a problem with waiting 1 minute for the plant to be harvested. I don't. It gives the officers time to interact with me and for me to roleplay something to stall them. For example, I do a magic trick in front of them. Roleplaying isn't about advantages over others or winning. It is about having fun and trying something you could not in your real life. Just like children play games taking roles. They don't pay money to have fun, they just step outside and take even sticks to play :).
So, probably you should just be nicer to each other and try to help the new players, you mean the galaxy to them (and I mean it).

Not even close. Argo is not closing. The people with the power to fix it just aren't free to do so at the moment. Everyone is freaking out over nothing. If Argo was going to close over such a short downtime, it would have done so over 10 years ago.

From the people I have met to those who have inspired me. To those around the world who I would never have had the opportunity to meet in person. Undoubtedly a life changing experience.
Leadership experience that will last a lifetime that in no way can be undervalued for what that worth is. For the other leaders who I have helped and supported. And even those who criticised and allowed me to develop a thicker skin even though we were on the same team. Without a doubt life changing.
To V and the members who were deeply connected to me on so many levels. All have changed my mind about a lot of my decisions and who I have made lifelong friends to. Looking back I can see I have helped a great many people who know it in their hearts. I know I don't see them every day and days go by where I don't look at the accomplishments I have done but nevertheless they still exist.
Onto bigger things now though and although the road of life is dynamic and spontaneous argonath has been a great vehicle to get me started early in life.
To those who don't see the massive opportunity argonath presents, you have access to all materials on the forum. You have access to 30,000 people and can test any of your fears. People will be all too happy to use them against you. Make your mistakes here so you don't have to make them in the real world. Get your RPG skills maxed out like a real salesman by testing it out. Selling over 200 properties in samp taught me the art of deal making.
Sometimes you have to compromise what you think is right at the time when you're in the thick of it. Now I always take a step back to any situation. Argo taught me that. It taught me to respect everyone regardless of status or background.
It taught me that for the most part you can be valuable and serve others and show people what you're truly made of.
Thanks.

If you can take anything from this, it's this - you have a unique opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds on a global scale who are just starting their lives. Make the most of it. You will look back in a few years and be glad you did.

Like others.. English. It gave me a platform to improve it.

Bad time management. I remember in RS4 I peaked at 13 hours a day. I saw it on the RS4 panel. I don't remember that day but I sure as hell wasn't afk that whole time, cause I played that much. Overtime, I got bored and eventually dropped it to a few hours a month to almost no Argonath gaming at all.

What if Argonath dies out? I would still stay in contact here and there with the people I met. No doubt. Chances are that will also decrease, but I hope not. I am still hoping Argonath adopts so new age SA:MP like client so some of us who grew up and got bored by SA:MP find some time to try out newer Argonath servers.
