Title: A little story about me.
Post by: MarceloS. on April 02, 2019, 05:39:04 pm
Hello guys, I wanna share a little story about me.
When I was a kid I always been super fat, was shy to go out and roll with friends..., after reaching 110kg on age of 18 I decided to go on a diet.
I started losing weight like a kilo or two kilos a month, but my greediness  wanted more than that, so I went on a hard diet "basically killing myself with it, in the beginning I didnt know anything about what I'm doing", so I decided to eat 200-350 calories a day.
In the beginning I didnt feel any difference, because I had source of energy which is excessive fat in my body.
After a long period of time I lost a huge amount of fat, and became anorexic... I reached 37kg.
Now I'm getting treatment to get out of this, since I've heart problems, low body fat 4 percent, lack of vitamins....
I'm almost 23 YO btw now.

What you've done there is actually pretty impressive. Losing fat without gaining muscle is tiresome and probably the toughest thing to do.

I myself used to face a lot of criticism for my weight about 4 years ago, I decided to make a strict change in diet and worked out 3 hours 6 days a week(sometimes 7), I noted weight loss, about 3 kilos every month, after hitting 70, I bulked up with lots of protein based diet and ofc all the supplements.

I think that's where you went wrong, you should've started to bulk up once you hit some specific weight.

Don't let this let you down, you're going to be perfectly ok after some well-needed rest.
Don't hesitate to load up on some carbs, those fat cells wont get swollen in 2 days lol

You're not gonna get any muscle just by sitting on your ass all day.
Get out there, workout, make sure your muscles feel like it just got assaulted every single day, drink lots of water, run 2-3 miles a day, load yourself with proteins, fibers and all other essential vitamins(BCAA) and amino acids. The most important for weight loss, always say "fuck carbohydrates" and google how a pound of fat looks like to motivate yourself(or you could get hydroxycut)

Can't do this? Stop dreaming then.

Hello, What I wanted from my question are tips on how to gain muscles effectively for a better healthy body, I do not, however, have any problem with weight, and I regularly perform some exercises for having so.
but I don't seem to get better, so I needed some tips from an experienced person, since you can't trust internet well, you know what I mean.
to add on that I don't sit all day on a chair because I spend atleast 12 hours outside to study, I only get to open game by night :)
thanks for the heads up though

When I was a kid I always been super fat, was shy to go out and roll with friends
I have been having the same problem, I have been overweight for the last 3 years and shy to talk to anyone and didn't have many friends. I'm 17 years old and I was 90 KG. I was chubby, clothes I used to wear didn't fit on me anymore. I am originally from Egypt, and I moved to England in January 2018. When I went back to Egypt last summer, my friends and relatives told me I got even fatter, which really annoyed me. When I returned to England, I decided to go to the GYM,. However, I was too laid back and started going to the GYM in February "Noting I returned in September". I go 4 times a week, sometimes 3 times. First month passed and I lost 4 kilos, still going without dieting or anything. Just eating less junk food etc. I feel some difference now and I started to make some friends, just need more confidence to talk to the girl I like haha. I know this may not be related but your story felt similar to mine, wanted to share it with you.

I hope you get well soon buddy!  ;)

Damn, seems like you got addicted to progress Marcelo. That weight loss was a good feat but you had to stop at some target. and 250-300 calories is super low, If you drain body of essential nutrients it'll always go in survival mode and start draining nutrients out of your organs and hair.

Well I am glad you are getting help now! Hope you get better and feel healthy again, thanks for sharing this with us and informing everyone that a very low body fat percentage isn't low either.

Just this time, set a goal for bulking too, dont go straight to 3k+ calories, that might stress your body even more. Figure out your maintenance calories and start from there and increase gradually. See you fitter next year. ;)

studying for 12 hours is sitting on your ass all right.

don't get offended, i didnt mean it to offend you either way.
I've been working out for the past 4 years, trust me, if you dont work out, you will not gain muscle whatsoever.

for a person to gain muscle, you have to lose them first(well technically damage it), when you workout, your muscles are literally being torn apart, they fuse back to give better and stronger muscle cells. For you to get more muscle, you need to set a protein dominant diet.

if you're unable to eat lean meat, be it that you cant afford it everyday, or you may be a vegeterian, go for protein supplements. Rumors about them causing cancer or anything is bullshit.

https://youtu.be/vBF2sndWtHo

watch this video if you are one of them who thinks protein powders are made in hell.

In all honesty I don't get this mentality. I had a similar situation with a real life friend that was staying home mostly due to 'look at me, I'm super fat'. Either do something to change this fact or just accept yourself the way you are.

In this case Cello overdid it but you get what I'm saying. Appearance is nothing. It's the inside that matters.
