Welcome to the first rally championship in argonath SA history, I say SA cause Gandalf once wanted to do a MTA:VC one but that is another story. This championship is aimed at LAGGERS... Thats right, it's the first racing event that accepts laggers. ooh, and RAMMERS too. You will understand why latter on.
There are 2 rounds planned so far, with the possibility of more rounds being added. The planned rounds, it will be fully confirmed when we have a good acceptance and a fair number of signings, are; ALS DESERT RALLY and BLUEBERRY CUP(name to be comfirmed)
Each round will have 4 to 6 SuperSpecials.

So how does this work? Well, just like rallies, you will race against time. But instead of a high tech chronometer you get an official in your car. Until we get more officials I will be going with everyone on the car and time their run, it's due to this that I've made the SS to finish near their start. I will be timing with a real time chronometer and at the same time I will give you the indications about the track; left, right, front, watchout!! AHHH!!!

Looking for Sponsors
We are currently looking for sponsors, all publicity payments will go for prizes and officials payment.
You can even buy the round name, e.g SAA cup

So down to the rules...

Rules

Individual rules

Participants can only use 1 type of car for all races!!!
If you want to drive an lawnmower(I know there aren't any ingame) you will drive the lawnmower on all tracks. You will have some disadvantages on some tracks and will be even worst on others.
But seriously, strict rules about that, but, there is an exception, if you change teams during the championship, as you have to use the team car model, you have to change.

No cheating nor hacking
Cutting corners is cheating, 10 second penalty whenever the official sees that you gain time for gong off track. If you jump those downhill corners, you will be charged 10 seconds for every segment jumped.

Skin
Use the citizen skin, or hooker skin, no cops are allowed in this event.

Team rules

3 drivers max.
But you can have replacment drivers and tecnicians and a clown and a dog...as long as only 3 people race.

Only one car model per Team.
Like WRC team, each team has it's designated car model. Then you have official teams and the others, but all them use only a car model.
The whole team can even use the same car.

Replacement drivers.
They have to be pre-signed on your team.

(to give more realism to the team it's advised to put the car model in the team name.)

Car rules

Car modifications.
All tunning parts are allowed EXCEPT NITRO. If you crashed the car, it's your car, the organization will only pay the tow truck(or bullzoder) to clear the road.

Cars allowed
All cars are allowed EXCEPT COP CARS. I'll warn you that some superspecials will be almost totally on dirt roads so be careful with the chosen car.

Points:

Prizes:
Per stage
1^st: 5000$
2^nd: 3000$
3^rd: 1000$

Rally
1^st place: 10 pts - 30,000$
2^nd place: 8 pts - 22,000$
3^rd place: 6 pts - 18,000$
4^th place: 5 pts - 15,000$
5^th place: 4 pts - 12,000$
6^th place: 3 pts - 9,000$
7^th place: 2 pts - 6,000$
8^th place: 1 pts - 3,000$
All other places: 500$ and 1 weed
everyone who races gets a free joint at the end of the rally :weed: :fly: And then maybe a huge party at rockstar hotel. :alc:

teams can have a maximum of three racers. that dose not mean you have to have three racers to enter.
the Sponsors can provide the funds to have your car modified for the day and pay for the fuel.

Nice idea, i was planning to do a rally championship too the other day... but why both tracks are 100% on the asphalt? :neutral:

And if you want, I would like to have you as co-organizer cause i like your tracks very much. I'll add them to the desert rally.
About the power classes, I'll make a different class for 4x4 cars, if people choose them to race.

We are going to try making 2 stages per saturday but i still dunno. Depends on the number of officials.

The turismo shouldn't be allowed as it is not a rallycar, it is a sports/supercar.

Jctodds, did you know that Porsche had a rally team in the 80's?

And Mercedes Benz made some races with an SL500, it even had air conditioning, the drivers love the car cause in the safari rally they could be fresh inside of it... :lol: , obviously, they never won a rally...

There aren't rally cars, that why rallies are so cool, you can see normal cars in it. Obviously, official teams have normal cars tunned for rally rules. ;)

An exception was open. As I see that this exception will be good for the competition and will enhance vehicle diversity. I approved the creation of a new team. And that a driver could change team although he already competed.
Jserg participation in first Superspeacial will be removed, which will cause Zun to move to 7th place. Jserg is now in the same conditions as drivers not present.

Yes. But don't forget Jserg was penalized by it. He lost 7 place. And I only allowed the creation of a new team cause they use chettah which is good for the show.

And besides, you are still 4 or 5 overall so I don't see why buffalo drivers are complaining...
I warned people that buffalo would have disadvantages on some tracks and advantages on others.

Cause I had said, delayded until next week.
This week I went online, I waited for 5 crashes, I spent 1000$ in ads, no1 came, and there were drivers ingame.
So I give Desert rally terminated.
