The Kolta Family has been proudly a part of the Argonath Community since November 1st, 2008, and was founded by Jaaskaa. We were granted official status on October 28th, 2010 by Aragorn, and have remained proud, lawful, and dedicated members of the community.
The Kolta Family is a law-abiding family and has been a cornerstone in lawful roleplay within Argonath.
We currently have a presence in San Andreas only (SA:MP and V:MP), and have not emigrated to another country.
Our family members are known to succeed in Argonath with the community in mind. Supporting each other to a successful work-social life.
Our family members have also attained ranks within lawful organizations including, but not limited to: Federal Bureau of Investigation, San Andreas Police Department, Central Intelligence Agency, Argonath RPG United Nations, Citizenship and Migration Board, and the San Andreas Fire Department.

Anways driggz if you want to know what i role play, id be more then happy to share. for the last idk 6-7 weeks i have been role playing lots of differnt things. Simple...
Kolta is a non-aligned group that forbid its members to play as criminals to avoid being taged as criminal (there is already enough crime groups out there anyways huh?) and that does encourage social and diversified roleplay.
Therefore we are not going into gangwars, turfwars, groupwars. We will maintain a peaceful attitude toward other groups.
We are here to have fun and play the game with all the support scripts can offer.
The following is an official statement:
It is a great day for Kolta as we join the ranks of the official groups. This standing made us realize we are here for a reason. We will try to make everyone proud of our group by maintaining high standards toward the respect of the rules associated with Argonath. Secondly, over a two-year period, there are only 12 pages? Gvardia have been around for about 3 months less than you and they have 934 pages. Says something about the 'activity'.. I don't possibly see how this is a group/family, yet alone being giving official group status despite being nothing more than was appears to be a clan that does not get suspected.

Those who think that Kolta is just a bunch of civilians and cops who do not get suspected- you have small minds. Unlike what happened with many other controversial factions, we actually abide by the rules of Argonath and choose our members on a quality-not-quantity basis. We are not like those people who will cry a river of shit if things do not go their way.
If you have noticed, all of our members are loyal Argonath players... and most have been / are serving the community as admins. It does not concern us if we will not reach 100 members, our concern is the quality as said above.
Sorry for my language here but if anyone would just barge into this topic just to post false shit about Kolta and Argonath then they should feel free to fuck off from here, seriously.

whatever you think .... I care... But it will not change the motion of earth. If you don't like the fact that Kolta is in ARUN, I cannot blame you. But still ...Do you have to come here and ask why? Is it so hard to accept that you need to come here and face us with this? ... If yes, then, I would suggest you to look at yourself and ask yourself what you are doing.
Kolta being in ARUN is not a threat to anyone because Kolta is a passive group. If you still feel attacked by the fact that a ``small little tiny group of a few of guys`` came in with such a status ... Then I officialy consider that you feel threatned. Also could I remind you that you are already a part of ARUN and therefore shouldn't see any scandalous situation into the nomination of a group of regular, long running and experienced players.
Kolta is not a law group, even if it seems so over SAMP, when Kolta assemble we play as normal citizens and we abide the laws. If we get pulled over, with roleplay it ... Its fun when you face a cop who has good manners and a way of rping. What Kolta wants to show is that you don't have to play only cop or criminal, there are more roles. Imagination is the limit.
I still cannot believe that seeing Kolta going official really shock and frustrate Gvardia or any other group. It's not like we would take your place or anything. Yet we don't allow our members to be criminals in order to don't get tagged as such, we don't forbid roleplay with people from any group. I could give a thousand reason to get Gvardia out of ARUN, but I don't do it because we are neutral. We are not here to get you closed, we are not here to create rivalries and we are not here to fight.

3. This group was made so we could actualy meet up and go into some crazy roleplay
4. The group did extend and soon became somewhat popular.
5. It became what it is now
6. Won best roleplay group over MTA:SA
7. Was proposed and accepted to join ARUN
And yet you wonder zomgwhy ...Did any Kolta do that on your topic? Yet we could have done the same thing only using different arguments but I do not believe anyone did.
I don't know how you see ARUN but I think we see it differently.
Yet if you want to pull up a debate, I don't want to do it over here. Nor anywhere anyways. It would be pointless since everyone would have his arguments and yell on each others.

I can also insure you, that Leon did not build a negative opinion on you or your group, or off your getting the official status.
He was just rather confused of the situation and statement made in this topic, cause of which he build up a wrong understanding of the whole tread , so he asked some questions that he thought would resolve his dilemma.
Unfortunately it looked badly at the end cause of the misunderstanding , but I can a sure you, that he does not have anything against any of you here, the group itself or against your newly assigned official status, since he's not that kind of guy, who goes around and judge or comment other peoples effort or groups, on the contrary , he's known of having always a neutral and logic opinion, which he didn't expressed specifically enough, cause of the confusion and misunderstanding that happen.

We solved things out. He wasn't aware of alot of things.
Some of them are that:
1. Kolta is celebrating 2 years soon (Nice gift to join ARUN, isnt it? )
2. Our members are dedicated to the community and our goal is to keep it as such. Kolta is maybe not an admin factory but we provide our members with the necessary knoweldge, approach, view and principles to help them into developping the proper attitude to be able to become a successful admin.
3. Kolta is not just a group of people sharing a name. We are Rping together things that are not usual or less common. We also provide some ...I hate to call it education but we do educate our members into Argonath from our vision. When I was asked to expose the vision of Kolta of Argonath to Ron when we were speaking about ARUN, he saw that our main interested and our alignment was done in such a way it did fit alot into Argonath vision.
4. Ron offered to make the discussion 3ways in with him, Matute and me because Matute is co-leader and co-founder. Now this didn't happen due to schedule issues but I do believe that if one day I had to quit Matute could handle Kolta and keep the high standards we currently have.
5. Kolta have great members all around who shows clear commitment to Argonath. Admins don't get admins because they are power hungry. It's because they are committed ... And being admin isnt a piece of cake like many people think. We work alot, we don't have more advantages than players, we have more rules to follow. So no, we are not just random people who are admins for fun and that makes us Ron friends. We are Ron friends because we support the community, we support Ron and Ronnel and we show the highest respect to them. Without Ron and Ronnel, there is no Argonath and all those great people I met, I would never have met them. Think about it....
6. We never asked to join ARUN, we were offered. When we were offered, and you may check, Ron said he wanted to speak to Jaaskaa_Kolta ... This means he checked the original file and not the current one, otherwise he would have put [Rstar]Jaaskaa or just Jaaskaa. If it would have been done in a subbjective manner maybe our name wouldn't even have figured on the list and we would have appeared out of nowhere suddenly into ARUN. Plus if Ron was so biased and liked me that much, I would be community leader or something like that, which is not the case but not at all. I am a very regular manager, I have no special powers overall nor anything. I worked for my success, that's it ...
1. FBI : I joined when it was still [FBI], I worked forums and got really involved in the group. So I was made 3rd in command. Following hierarchy, at some point I became second, then, when Fernando left, 1st. When he came back I went off and came back. I worked my way back to where I am through involvement.
2. Adminship: I started as a moderator, Xcasio and Sharphis coached me, promoted me and checked my actions. They told me what to fix, how to behave and etc. Then at some point I made it to lvl 4 admin, then 5, then it became manager. I didn't went to Ron to ask him: You make me manager kk? .... He would have killed me. I did my job, that's it.
3. Kolta: I started that group for fun and to keep in touche with my friends when I left FBI. I wanted to create new projects and all. The thing became more serious and we are here now.
4. Court: I applied, got selected and by a natural elemination process I ended up being the only one standing. I took court over and re-developped it. I know it's not perfect but the way I saw it was that court was a big beast requiring alot of work. With managing, kolta, fbi ...I knew I wouldn't have alot of time to take cases so splitting court into small courtrooms was the best solution to my eyes.
I was at the right place at the right moment? Maybe ...I worked, sweared, sweated and made all I could? Yes.
That is what some people are not aware and are prompt to judge directly as soon as someone gets something.
Never have been a good stuff.
I think Leon realized that there were stuffs he didn't knew and that changed his point of view. Now that things are settled, let's party! :hurray:

- Since Kolta's creation back in November 2008, members have suffered minimal administrative punishments.
- The majority of the members within the Kolta family are apart of the Argonath administration team.
- The Kolta family has rendered a positive reputation throughout Argonath on it's outstanding performance in game and out game.

After serving with the honorable tag within the Kolta family for a little over a month; I have decided to leave the family. Nothing lead to this decision as well as no one caused it. I would like to thank the Kolta family for the educational virtues and social implications it has enlightened me with. In the end, my decision is made on the best interest of role play and nothing else. I will still be around to talk and laugh like always whenever and wherever. Well, I'm sorry to say but my days of being a Kolta are over. Today I'm leaving the group because I'm looking forward to roleplay as a criminal too. It was fun, even the group is a little inactive as a family. Also, our current forums are not so reliable. They have been going online and offline continuously throughout my time in kolta. So, I am requesting that we get an SMF Forum please.

I was riding with Sheriff Jcstodds, and forcing people to join the parade under threat of atomization via the antimatter rifle found in the lost city of Atlantis, which we accessed through the secret passage we found in the basement. (No, we weren't on LSD.)

Well, Since we have an MSN group, we are not so reliable on the server methods so we can all "roleplay" in a unique way. So, I feel neutral on the idea of servers being turned off, but I would have loved to be on Teamspeak and such during the servers online.

Because we would rather not have criminal admins vouching for applicants. We do not have any grievances against the criminal role or those who play it, but our family is one of law-abiding citizens and law enforcers. Hence the requirement that the admin be playing the role of a cop.
Timeframe changed as well, all current applicants and all future applicants need to submit a recommendation from a cop admin, effective immediately.

The internal bickering plus current situation has led me to rethink of my involvement around here. Seeing people general attitude and the lack of respect and non-fuck-giving general aspect, Kolta is hereby closed at least until further notice if any.

The official Kolta will be back on monday. We are still in developping, passing into some more alternative game style, more roleplay and a bit more out of mind and spiritual ... After almost four years, I have decided to bring Kolta to a halt. The project has gone in a direction astray from it's original purpose into a more general purpose. Through the years we tried a variety of formulas, some good, some bads, none perfect. I come to realize if a group wants to live up to it's name, it has to have a bound to the person who gave its name to it. This is not the case anymore. I just feel this whole entreprise has lost its soul and spirit. Letting such things falling into the abyss and never be heard of again is the best thing to do when you come to realize how much of a downpath it has been on.
We were offered the status of official group and tried to live up to this. In many opinions, we were unique and fun. In my opinion this was a total fail. When you lead a group where you know only a few of the members, you kinda end up asking yourself if you are at the right place. It's a funny story while I think about it. There have been many reforms, many attempts and things but whatever. Let us be honest we have become too mainstream and not faithful enough to our true selves.
That's how it ends. By trying to please the mass, you kinda lose yourself. Rather hang yourself while you are at it. Leroy and I will be walking another path while we are still able to walk. I ask every Kolta to cease and desist from using this tag. I ask every Kolta to forget about us and not ask us what is coming next. We will work at our rythm and we will create something we both like. We will create something new. I am not sorry for doing this. I am not sad nor happy. We just take another step in this great story called Argonath. Like every story, there was a beginning, a thrill and it has to come to an end. In the meantime we will do this :alc: booyah I'll be outside!

As many of you may or may not know, Kolta has lost a significant asset this evening.
Bass has stepped down from leader and has left the family. He will still be advising us on who shall be members and who shall not, etc. But this is a sad day for us (more sad for me if I must say).
As I have said once or twice in the past; Once a Kolta, always a Kolta, and I think this statement is best used in this situation.
Bass will always be welcomed back when he wants to. He will always have a special place in Kolta that many others will not have the pleasure to have.
With that being said, On Bass's request, the following promotions are in order:
Slavik is now Leader of the SA:MP Division
Tim is now a Trial Co-Leader of the SA:MP Division
Manoni is now a Trial Co-Leader of the SA:MP Division
Best wishes to all, and good luck with your future endeavors.

It's really sad to seeing such a great person leaving, as you were one of the persons of why i decided to join Kolta, but as i previously said on our conversation, your reasons of leaving are quite understandable.
I wish the best in your future and i hope to keep seeing you around White Shadows, FBI and Skype.
Now, moving the goodbyes aside, i would like to thank you for considering me in the held of such important charge; It'll be an honour for me to prove that you didn't made the wrong choice on this, not mattering the fact that it's a "Trial" period because after all, we are all looking for the best to our family.
I still gotta congratulate Slavik for this big promotion as Leader of the SA:MP and also to Tim as trial co-leader, I'm looking forward to collaborate with you in this new opportunity that we have received in the family.

As mentioned earlier, Bass will still be involved with Kolta on some type of level. It's just he will not be an "official member" of Kolta. Yes, he carries some Leadership abilities in Kolta still, but they are very limited. But Bass is not leaving anytime soon (or so I hope, for the sake of my sanity :lol:).

Why do you want to join Kolta?: I always appreciated Kolta's legacy and its values for being a legal family. I wanted to join it a long time ago, yet because it was closed, I couldn't. Now with the reopening, I look forward to trying to become a member, to be part of the mateship.
How can you contribute to Kolta, and uphold its core values?: My roleplay is legally oriented. I'm about law enforcement, or even other civil services roleplay. I've done a lot of things in these aspects, fire, EMS, FBI, military, law enforcement, and whatnot. I'm about enjoying the more subtle, more interactive experiences of the server, that some people might not regard as highly, but I know Kolta recognizes them and has a legacy for partaking in them.
I'm happy to further teach people what I know using the skills I've learned over my time, and I am more than happy to partake in roleplay with people who wish to interact with me in these aspects.
What times are you usually active in-game (/time)?: I'm Australian (I'm like the community outcast like this lol) so... typically only up to about 16:00.
Have you ever committed a crime, if so, what were they?: Can't remember, I'm a mostly legal-oriented freelancer on Argo.
When was the last time you committed a crime?: A couple of weeks ago, I evaded a traffic stop just for a bit of fun.
