After almost four years, I have decided to bring Kolta to a halt. The project has gone in a direction astray from it's original purpose into a more general purpose. Through the years we tried a variety of formulas, some good, some bads, none perfect. I come to realize if a group wants to live up to it's name, it has to have a bound to the person who gave its name to it. This is not the case anymore. I just feel this whole entreprise has lost its soul and spirit. Letting such things falling into the abyss and never be heard of again is the best thing to do when you come to realize how much of a downpath it has been on.
We were offered the status of official group and tried to live up to this. In many opinions, we were unique and fun. In my opinion this was a total fail. When you lead a group where you know only a few of the members, you kinda end up asking yourself if you are at the right place. It's a funny story while I think about it. There have been many reforms, many attempts and things but whatever. Let us be honest we have become too mainstream and not faithful enough to our true selves.
That's how it ends. By trying to please the mass, you kinda lose yourself. Rather hang yourself while you are at it. Leroy and I will be walking another path while we are still able to walk. I ask every Kolta to cease and desist from using this tag. I ask every Kolta to forget about us and not ask us what is coming next. We will work at our rythm and we will create something we both like. We will create something new. I am not sorry for doing this. I am not sad nor happy. We just take another step in this great story called Argonath. Like every story, there was a beginning, a thrill and it has to come to an end. In the meantime we will do this :alc: booyah I'll be outside!
