Post by: Aragorn on September 07, 2006, 12:01:14 am: Well, if you noticed on the home page, Argonath RPG opened its own Radio Channel. I made a small banner as testing my new program.

With this we need DJs with their own programs.

Also those, who can help with:

1. Regular server news (including: RPG news, Clans news, Government News, Sport news, and of cos Police news :cop: )
2. Radio commerce for the businessmen who will order it for their business (including jingle and info)
3. Special programs dedicated to some group/musician with short info about history/albums, well some of you maybe like some groups and know about them all... I think will be not bad, if you will share this info to rise music education of server members...))))))
4. DJs, with special programs dedicated to the different styles of music.

And of cos we are looking for the regular DJs of our Radio channel...

1. Mixing different styles of music (not interesting to listen rap all day yeah?)

At last Argonath Station activated 3 DJs: =MS=Agent, Xtr3me and GstarZ

The options for DJs:

1. DJs can make jingles by players requests on Argonath business. They can make commerce for houses/cars/groups.

- Prices on jingles are setted by every DJ personally
- Players can choose the DJ they want for running their jingles. Price, time, numbers are dealed between clients and DJs personally

2. DJs should connect each other so radio could be in future non-stop. But as one QJ runs radio, other DJ should wait. With this they should select the best time for them all and deal who runs after other.

3. DJs should not only run music. They should make also some news from server. Like:

- server on/off line;
- server's activity;
- server's slots (17/20 for example);
- server's current events;
- commenting the events and activity;
- buying/selling news (if found);

If DJs will run proper news, they will be paid by Government

For example:

DJs will be organized by the time... They will be listed as soon as we'll cover the most time on radio channel...

This list of DJs will let players to chose the DJ for advertising their stuff...

DJs can make commercial for business (shops, cafes, clubs, etc.), for the groups (Seed of Weed, for example: the best smoke shit in the Vice world, find us at Viceport docks, sailors with the bandana RBS... :) Or... Yeah, ooh.... Wanna relax? SFS hookers - da best girls from the Ocean Bich... No any glitches - real beaches... :))))

DJs will get the offer from Government to make commercial on the events...

Everyone who ordered the commercial - will pay the DJs... Like in real life... For example 1 jingle / 1 hour = 10 $...

That is the way we wanna make the radio... :redface:

People who will order the commerce will pay the money to the DJs for running the commercial on the radio channel... That is the way of spending money...

Look, when people buy car, house and shop... Where they can use their money?
Ordering the radio commercial is one of the ways...

All government commercial, that will be runned by DJs will be payed in special way... ;)

Depends of what kind of program you wanna make...If just music without anything else - it is 1 second to make...
If special music program - it can take minimum one day from you to put all files in list correct...
If special program with interviews or news - depends of what sort is...

Skills: Ive been playing DJ Winamp quite half year or so, i had about 10-15 lisstener per day but in the holidays and such i had 20-30 record was somewhere about 49 or something.

+ I lissten to costumers and choose what kind of music they really want i can sometimes put up votes.
- Sometimes i can be high :cool: haha but i know what im doing but i can do something pretty shitty doe :/

:lol: Dave, I have my own Radio station... I refer to John, not you. John recruited me and so I will listen to John as he also seems more friendly.

The head admin for radio is Dave... So if you do not want to listen to him - it is your own problem...

2. Stop flame admins and know the limits... Dave is the main admin and you are a moderator, so do not flame "grow up"...

3. All DJs have their own names... If you see "Argonath Government Radio" - it is running by me - randome picked music, filling the empty air time...

Actually as a beginner of the Argonath Radio, and the owner of this topic, I'll make some changes...

1. As the leader of the Argonath Radio was changed due to the inactivity of an old one (=AV=John), the new Argonath Radio developer ([R*]Dave) should start his own topic... This one will be locked then...

2. The password on Argonath Radio for DJs will be changed... The Radio admin ([R*]Dave) will get the new one...
It is in his charge - whom to give the password... So it is in his power to set DJs...

It wasn't a lie...I had exams (and still do), ask anyone in UK who is in year 11, they will verify that the exams still don't finish until the end of June...

I have finished school now for Study Leave, and so am back, as I stated in my post. I am happy to let Dave take charge, it enables me to get rid of some other things that I do also at this time.

As for the CS thing, I wanted to play something after school with friends that I can no longer see, people who moved away etc. Here, I have everyone's MSN, I can talk any time, I can come to MTA and talk with those whom I want to. I find blowing peoples' brains out and getting headshots incredibly relaxing and stress-relieving, as other FPS players will also verify. I would rather do that there than on RPG server in MTA :war:.

I hope this has cleared some issues..

Got plenty of songs, sound editing programs, voice changers and sound effects. Normally I will pre-record everything and have gaps for live traffic updates and news reports :)
