It was archieved with some ENB high modification (shaders etc). Was called smh like Environment Mod i think, okay i will post link here when find it.

UPDATE2: It's not working with IV:MP! And if you want to use it on single player, remember to make a backup first!
UPDATE3: Hey i found a fix for you all with crashing after loading! You just have to change to your native resolution in enbseries.ini in GTA IV main folder!

EDIT: just tried it out and think it sucks. The car seems to be a little transparrent. I saw the blood splatters through my car and break marks. Second, it might my problem but everything was soooo dark. i had brightness maxed out and still it was so too dark. All in all i think pictures are good but mod itself sucks.
Shakal have u tried it yourself ?

Yeah tried, it worked but you need to have everything on max settings. And it's not looking like on that screens to me but it's really a big step.

This mod looks awesome,
I installed the mod but it corrupted my game so ive had to reinstall, will try my luck once ive re-installed again. ;)
Every time I install the mod, my game crashes as I get to the login screen, dont know if its just my game but it seems quite unstable.

Remember that update that took away the Operating System option? I downpatched it back to before that patch, so I could use a shareware version of Windows XP, and I put my GTA IV(PC version) onto it, giving me a huge boost in graphics card detail and perfomance. It's pretty much a computer now, with a mouse and keyboard connected. Also with bluetooth :D

With your experience with a great console like the Ps3(The only great console), I would recommend using tutorials first. I did mine off my head.
I only downloaded a shareware version of Windows XP, placed it on a disc(The way you do it with Ubuntu), inserted it into my Ps3, installed it as a secondary Operating System, attached a mouse and keyboard in, and I was all ready to go to play some hardcore PC action.
Note, you need a wired connection to go online though, and the Shareware version of XP comes with NOTHING on it, so you need to supply yourself with an internet browser.

Another note, if your going to do what I did, BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES. Even your game files(The major ones that are installed, like the one GTA IV installs onto the Ps3 hard drive). I backed my files of my Ps3 onto my mothers External Hard Drive that she uses to backup her files, because she had ALOT of space on it.
I'm currently going to get One/two terrabyte External Hard drive after I get my new Desktop computer for the Playstation, so I can use it for Windows XP data, so the Ps3 will have it's space.
So whenever I switch Operating Systems, I wont have to backup my files everytime.
But Driggz, remember, this is me, I might have missed a few steps, and always becareful of your precious data, you DONT want to sit there and reinstall all your games and play them from the start again.

Awesome dude thanks. But the thing is I updated mine to 3.55 so i doubt I can do anything anymore. I want to downgrade to the version when I was able to install other OS but getting the dongle to downgrade is like 100 dollars and i dont even know if its compatible with 3.55

That link I posted doesnt seem to crash my game, not too sure if it is working 100% but ill test that out just now once ive finished backing up my game..
Nope, the game still freezes on loading for IVMP, so no mod for now...

this is AMAZING.
I simply love setting time to 12:00, and Sunny weather, then spawning my BMW. (Sentinel) and cruising around! This is just epic.
I use to play at all Medium at 1680 x 1050.. and I get around 28-35 FPS. Fair enough for graphics!

This is before I modded the BMW and made some more settings, but surely I'll take 2 shots tomorrow to show you how nice this is!

Guys guys, You should know ENB is one Helluva mod BorisV made, its in its very BETA stages and requires uber hardcore hardware, so IF you think this mod can work on any old rig, YOU ARE WRONG! Don't even try it, unless you dont mind having 20fps or something. GTA IV on its own is CPU intensive anyway, with this it becomes CPU+GPU intensive. Which SUCKS, I mean it, SUCKS!, so dont even try ENB just for the sake of some reflections(that are bad on cars) and water etc etc....Besides, it glows too much, too much bloom.

Thanks for the notification, but some prefer to have better graphics over the amount of frames per second.

Yeah well, good for SP, but MP in low frames=not good so its a tip for most MP gamers. And IV doesn't have bad graphics, its just no AA....sux... btw we both have Ezio avatar :P

I believe the environment work didn't even work for MP.

It works on all settings and resolutions, but recommended are the highest and widescreens monitors.

Look at the right side of the picture, I don't recall any location.. and there's a Jeep with the wheel holder in the back.. unless it's a mod, there's no such thing in GTA IV.

That picture is real, there is a Ferarri mod on a Turismo, ENB Environment Mod on Max and on max graphics.
Theres a White Dukes coming down the road there in the distance, and that jeep is another car mod as you can see its contrast compared to surrounding cars. ;)

Ugh, this mod is horrible. My Ps3 ran very well with this mod, but the graphics were too bright! If I had it on low brightness, I had to put it up. And when I put the brightness up, the gleam from the sun would blind me and I would have to put it back down, so I removed it from the console.
