Dude I cant begin to say how awesome that is. I wanna downgrade it so bad but idk how to do it for free. You know anyway i can do that???????????

With your experience with a great console like the Ps3(The only great console), I would recommend using tutorials first. I did mine off my head.

I only downloaded a shareware version of Windows XP, placed it on a disc(The way you do it with Ubuntu), inserted it into my Ps3, installed it as a secondary Operating System, attached a mouse and keyboard in, and I was all ready to go to play some hardcore PC action.

Note, you need a wired connection to go online though, and the Shareware version of XP comes with NOTHING on it, so you need to supply yourself with an internet browser.

Another note, if your going to do what I did, BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES. Even your game files(The major ones that are installed, like the one GTA IV installs onto the Ps3 hard drive). I backed my files of my Ps3 onto my mothers External Hard Drive that she uses to backup her files, because she had ALOT of space on it.

I'm currently going to get One/two terrabyte External Hard drive after I get my new Desktop computer for the Playstation, so I can use it for Windows XP data, so the Ps3 will have it's space.

So whenever I switch Operating Systems, I wont have to backup my files everytime.

But Driggz, remember, this is me, I might have missed a few steps, and always becareful of your precious data, you DONT want to sit there and reinstall all your games and play them from the start again.

Awesome dude thanks. But the thing is I updated mine to 3.55 so i doubt I can do anything anymore. I want to downgrade to the version when I was able to install other OS but getting the dongle to downgrade is like 100 dollars and i dont even know if its compatible with 3.55

That link I posted doesnt seem to crash my game, not too sure if it is working 100% but ill test that out just now once ive finished backing up my game..


Nope, the game still freezes on loading for IVMP, so no mod for now...

It's working on all patches, but make a backup first!

this is AMAZING.

I simply love setting time to 12:00, and Sunny weather, then spawning my BMW. (Sentinel) and cruising around! This is just epic.

I use to play at all Medium at 1680 x 1050.. and I get around 28-35 FPS. Fair enough for graphics!

This is before I modded the BMW and made some more settings, but surely I'll take 2 shots tomorrow to show you how nice this is!

Guys guys, You should know ENB is one Helluva mod BorisV made, its in its very BETA stages and requires uber hardcore hardware, so IF you think this mod can work on any old rig, YOU ARE WRONG! Don't even try it, unless you dont mind having 20fps or something. GTA IV on its own is CPU intensive anyway, with this it becomes CPU+GPU intensive. Which SUCKS, I mean it, SUCKS!, so dont even try ENB just for the sake of some reflections(that are bad on cars) and water etc etc....Besides, it glows too much, too much bloom.
