Since a day or 2 my internet is VERY slow. It doesnt even reach 0.20 Mbps UPLOAD speed. I am on a laptop with wireless connection. We have an other computer on the wireless connection, and also a printer. The main computer is just on an internet cable, tho that computer is broken so i cant test the internet on it. We tried resetting the router for about 3-4 times, same for the modem. On both computers we have full connection, but it is really slow. If you need any information just ask..
Please, someone knows a solution to fix this?

Tried talking to ISP tech support?
-
Do you have any updates running in the background?
What is your download speed?
How long has this problem lasted? Maybe your ISP server is just on overload..

Download speed is 2.02Mbps
It lastes since about 2 weeks ago, then it stared to load pages slower etc, but since 2 days it is really slow..

Edit:
When i try to connect to internet some times, i get the message that the gateway is offline, we reset the router to get acces to it again.. So now i have internet again for about 30 minutes.

Give this a go:
Open up a command prompt. Start > accessories > Command Prompt
Type in: ipconfig /release
Then wait until you see that you are not connected to the internet.
Now type in ipconfig /renew
Wait until connected to the internet again. This should give you some extra speed.
Check at www.speedtest.net (http://www.speedtest.net)
Let me know how his goes.

What is the name of the router?
-
Is the connection secured with a password? Just so that nobody else is stealing your bandwidth :D
-
Simple question: How old is your modem?
-
Name of the router:
Eminent EM4040
The connection is not secured, but i am sure nobody is stealing it, and i am 95% sure about that,
And the modem / router is about 5 years old.

I always have a cross here, but after about 30 minutes it dissapears and then i have everythign green without crosses..

SO what is wrong now? The ISP? The router? Or just my computer?
-
cross there ment no connection between moded and internets
try flushing dns just in case
ipconfig /flushdns
-
For some reason its fixed now, didnt do anything, I bet it was the ISP.
-
sometimes an ISP's maintancence can take up to a week, this can cause slow connections and drop outs
-
Okay thanks everybody, topic may be locked.
Not. It is still lagging very much..
-
So anyone knows a solution?

Had the same issue with the old ISP. Me and my family wanted to suicide with such internet, until my father gave up and asked my mom to change ISP and upgrade the internet to 10MB. She did so, we changed ISP, new modem+router and fresh 10 MB :)
I suggest you to change your router/modem and upgrade to atleast 5MB

Same thing happened to me, old router and old modem. As soon as they were replaced everything was going at normal. Speed went from 0.8mb/s to 20mb/s.
