Hello guys.It's been more than a month that I can not find a suitable laptop.So I am writing this because I believe some of you have gaming laptops...and bla bla bla...
I need a laptop that cost less than 800$
Targeted specs:
I7 3rd gen 3630QM
8GB Dual or single channel RAM
1.5 or 2.0 GB GPU(ONLY NVIDIA)
500GB SATA HDD
720P or 1080P 15.6" Screen
1GB of gpu is also acceptable if it kIds the price exceed to more than 800$.Please help me.
P.S I will check this topic after 2 weeks.

Your best value for money gaming laptop would have to be one of the scan 3XS laptops. Although the only problem is I believe scan is a UK based country so you would have to see what the shipping costs to Pakistan were, if they do ship abroad. At £494 ($759) you get a nice gaming laptop with Intel Core i3 3120M, 2.5Ghz, dual-core, 3MB cache CPU. 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Memory and 2GB Nvidia Geforce GT 650M - DirectX 11 GPU. Along with a 500GB harddrive. Unfortunately with a limit of $800 I don't think you will find one with i7 and with the capabilities of running high spec games.

I love laptops. However they have many cons, such as it overheats to much, you need to watch after your battery now and then, its more costly to fix/maintain, and a laptop is always more expensive than a PC.
A PC on the other hand is great for gaming or being turned on all day, 24/7. Its way more cheaper, parts are cheaper, and you can install hardware/RAM etc. by yourself.
A powerful/gaming PC is not as expensive.
A regular/non-gaming laptop is costly, and a gaming laptop... hell of a price!
I think a powerful PC is better than a laptop.
Although laptops are mostly used if you travel alot.

I have the first one.
But ofc, both cost waaaaaaaaay over $1000
for $800 best one is Samsung NP550P5C-S04 if you can get it. It has same specs as the first one but a third gen i5, which makes no difference.
and oh, the Samsung ones also have a battery backup of 7-9 hours. :p

Nope, but as a IT Student studying computers day in a day out i know about these things, the best thing to do is also YouTube the computer etc.. and see what people can play, and search for games what can be played on it, my personal opinion it sounds like a medium/high end gaming laptop, with the latest generation of processor your bound to be able to play most of the new games.

I saw people playin bf3 on high and medium setting and GTA 4 on high setting I think.If its great then the laptop is final.

GT650M beats it by par.

GT650M is ranked 36th, while Radeon 7730 is ranked 99.
About your previous questions, there won't be a single frame rate difference in games like SA and GTA IV between i5 and i7. i5 is a gamer chip. :p i7 is for pro work.

Just make sure to read some reviews on it by google search. :) Better know first hand if it heats up a lot or if GPU throttles.
7730 is better than GT630. Try and see if you can find a laptop with any other GPU from that list's top 100. :p
And its always switching btw xD Last year I too liked AMD GPUs, but man, after experiencing NVIDIA support, I must say its awesome! Think about it yourself, when did Resident Evil : Revelations come out? 21st May, 2013, yes 4 days ago. And we already got official driver update for it on 23rd! and beta was available since a month already! :D
In NVIDIA, The first number depicts the series (year, generation) the higher the better. And second number depicts the level of the GPU , the higher the better again.
So it goes like this.
GT610 < GT620 < GT630 < GT640 < GT650 and so on.
Same with newer series 7, which is rarely available as of yet.
GT710 < GT720 < GT730 < GT740 < GT750
Series 7 might be newer but a GT710 won't be better than GT630. That's all you should know. :p

On the contrary, the OLD Sony Vaios were good, the new ones are a bag of shit.
Old machines had a superb metal chassis, the new ones merely use the base plastic of the machine to keep it's shape.
This may not sound too bad until you consider that the motherboard is mounted directly to this flimsy plastic frame, and every time you open and close the laptop lid, it flexes the motherboard. The heatsink has a tendency of pulling off the chip, laptop overheats and dies, you then need a new one.
Stay away from Vaios, trust me.

The specifications look perfect for your requirements, as was quoted above, its not a bad performer, as the CPU and the GPU of the laptop are quite high end, in my honest opinion i would say go for it!
