Well yeah I've downloaded arround 20 songs which I had running and testing it ... it is obviously bet, but not a huge difference... and yeah radio stations are better than personal songs...
Most radio stations offer you links to streams to paste into your audio player. Have you tried that? I'd imagine a simple player (like foobar2000) would eat up a little less resources than a web browser.

I could write a book with all the reason. Hell might consider it.. could become a NY Times best seller!
Is it from your personal experience, or just echoing what smug web devs are posting on Twitter?

Gonna check that out now... though I haven't noticed such a thing in the station that I like...
Also spotify is good, though the list are not in my style and "liking" each song is like downloading it...

Chromium is Chrome but with some Google features removed. I would suggest that if you can't run Chrome by itself. If you want, try the developer channels of Chrome since 64 bit was introduced and it might help you.

Waterfox is a 64 bit version of Firefox which runs a lot better than the standard Firefox from personal experience.

Safari is one step above IE11 so take that as you'd like.

Midori is also lightweight but crashes on some Windows distributions.

If you haven't already, clear out the cache and such in your browser. Remove any extensions which are just fluff. I did that with my Chrome since it was eating my page file up and now it's working without hitches.

Stop asking me when episode 7 comes out!
