Greetings,
Due to the large amount of feedback given about the server we're in the process of making multiple changes within the server, One of the main changes will be to properties, As it currently stands any player can just log in once a month to satisfy the property taxes needs in order to maintain ownership of their property(s).
Well that all changes now!
Players are now able to contact HQ to take over properties if a player is inactive and holding a property or just being plain unreasonable with their properties asking for Millions of dollars for tiny little houses(this excludes ammunations). Also if an owner is holding a property and failing to stock the business with items it is liable to being admin sold and taken over.
Group properties that are in a reasonable amount of distance around a group HQ are subject to being kept due to keeping the area owned for the group, Although if your group is inactive and not using the area as intended this may not apply to you.
How this will work is .. Player X finds Property Y owned by inactive owner Z, Player X fills out a form which will be listed below and send it to the PM of Myself and I will post the PM in the HQ boards, If i am too busy and cannot claim the request another member of HQ will, We then make our best efforts to contact the owner first on forum then on discord if possible, They will have Seven days to respond to us with their property claims and if they refuse to get rid of or sell the property to the player wanting it we will take further steps to ensure the property is being used, based on activity in the server, Property activity and stock levels. After that HQ will decide whether the property gets admin sold or auctioned off(depending on whether more than one person wants the property)
IF say the player doesn't respond to our initial 7 day waiting period, the property will be renamed "being sold to "player X" in 15 days. If the owner does not show up within 15 days the property will be sold to the player who has requested the property, If the owner happens to return and was inactive for certain reasons Negotiations can start once again.
This system is going to be in place purely because of the vast majority of properties being held by inactive owners who only log in once a month to pay their taxes, We want our newer players and newer groups to have a chance to have fun and roleplay the ways that they want to and holding properties from them just because you don't want to let them go is no reason to kill their vibes on the server.
Ps: All property information will be checked for the past three months of ownership to determine whether or not the property is deemed "Inactive"
