Help me get back in game

I previously posted this to Hardware Support but didn't get any useful help. Perhaps any of you will have any ideas.

I recently bought a Lenovo Miix 320 2 in 1 tablet PC. Basically, you use it as a laptop, or, when and if you desire, you remove the screen from the keyboard, making it a touch based tablet. It works surprisingly well and snappy considering that it isn't really packing much power. Certainly, the first thing I try on it is to run GTA Vice City.

It works with amazing FPS, but there's a catch: it won't run in landscape orientation. Basically, even though the keyboard is connected and therefore Windows automatically locks the tablet into landscape orientation, the game launches sideways and only takes half the screen. However, it runs. If I try to use the Windows hotkeys to change screen orientation, the game freezes. Once I change it back to what it was, the game runs again. But sideways.

Any ideas folks?
It runs Windows 10

I could just fire up my old laptop, but I am too lazy to wipe the dust off it.

Double-check that the resolution is correct, could be too high for horizontal screen orientation.

long time no see.

Well I'm not sure if it would work or not. But it's worth a shot.

If you game runs, I'm pretty sure you can also launch your VCMP.
Join any server and type, /setconfig game_windowed 1
Quit and restart, see if it fixes the problem, if the game runs in a small window, press Alt + Enter.
Make sure you set your game resolution to monitor resolution in VCSP.

If that doesn't work,
Go to settings > system > tablet mode.
Switch Tablet mode to on and set the option under "When I sign in" to "Automatically switch to tablet mode".
Press windows key + P, make sure "PC screen only" is selected.

Try doing that and tell me what happens.

Try to open comtability options and check on "disable fullscreen optimizations" of each or specific .exe file

Have you tried the standard: Update your Graphic Drivers? Do you have the Intel/GPU Drivers installed or are you using the basic windows ones? Because the windows one did give me a similar problem.

There are some visual mods that May/May not be illegal but they work with similar problems. You needa ask Admins about them.

I'm not tech savvy but this sounds like a good suggestion.
Also, maybe reinstall adobe reader?
