Gang Wars/Territories

to make a gang war with scripts, that would be controlled by admin - no problem...

Again... Gang won a territory... What is the next? Respect? From whom sorry...

"This is our territory - get out or you will be killed!" - this is the thing that stops developers...
We already saw how you, guys, started attacking every one, who came on "your" territory... Or how you demanded people to leave your territory, even cops... Mostly, when you saw a cop - all gang starts shooting...

This you wanna bring on server? No way...

So think again - what will give you gangs territories - and will it be really controlled roleplaying - or just some team deathmatch shit...

The gang wars and areas are the most hard to make it awesome. I'm sure we would make something great with them, but how, this's the hard. We have an indefinied answer, what we don't know. This comes from merge my ideas with some Roleplay and RON's plans. We need to get this answer, otherwise we can't controll the areas, and how RON said, chaos. Untill we don't know this, I won't want gangwars, but everybody, who has ideas, write it here. You can help us to get what we're looking for.

I think I'll make a group, who's suppose will be simple, make the gangwars the best. You can join and help us. It's for us. Join and help us find the unfindable!

gang wars are a good idea athough they should be organised and should have a certain  amount of people on each side.

Gang wars are vital to any RPG with gangs. It just adds that extra exitement. Though they should be orginised a few days in advance, with admin approval and set in a small area of SA. They should also be a list of valid reasons to start a war, so people don't want to wage war just because you don't like them or something.

Just my opinion. It's not deathmatching if it has a valid reason.

Perhaps even a seperate server? I dunno, I'm just spouting ideas.

If the server accepts gangs based in their server, the gangs must have a point. The territorys will just be about respect, yes, I know Aragorn questioned it, but it makes the gang respect itself, have more confidence. They shouldn't be territorys such as ''hey that guy isnt in our gang but hes in our turf lets all kill him!!1'' but just a new place for the gang to hang out. Sounds pointless I know, but it's what most people (including me) want.

  Territory should be defined as "the land in which that gang owns" This means the area exdending to where there houses are grouped, e.g. a road (like the old mafia turf)...However a shoot on site rule should not be allowed. If a war is to be arranged, then it probably should be in public to make feel realistic after all it is SA. We want police involvement, and if gangwars are scripted there is not really much tp RP.

Nothing needs to be scripted, just everything needs to be orginised in advance.
