I am using Win7 and the game closes when I open it, and I get that "gta-vc.exe has been stopped working".
Any fix?
I am guessing it doesn't let you play whatsoever?
I use Windows 7 (Professional Ed.) for VC:MP and GTA: VC and works great.
Just check if you have correctly installed everything for the GTA: VC game as the
gta-vc.exe message is mostly unrelated to VC:MP.
If it still doesn't work after you try reinstalling, then try playing it through a virtual disk - by mounting your installation from the physical CD - (usually burners like Nero provide such tools) if your computer doesn't.
Funnily enough, for some PC GTA versions, apparently if you install the game to your 'My Documents' the problem is solved, but that might be for Vista... not sure.
well, you can try and opening vice city's properties, and mess around with the compatibility status
"Mess around", lol Dani. It's true actually. Try changing the ".exe" to one of the other options to see if it works - be sure to change back though, if it has no good results.
