Make it illegal to PM players for drugs

The thing is that those PMs makes Argonath look like a cops'n robbers server / freeroam, and in my opinion it drags Argonath's reputation in RPG down as they isolate themselves from the actual roleplaying role as a drug dealer.

but couldnt it be possible to make a filter showing the pms of a special id?
And just another thing, gandalf, you dont like illegal ads, as seen in the ''illegal ads'' topic, but PMing everyone except cops and A-team is excactly the same ...
Or would you sms everyone in you thelephone book about selling drugs?
I wouldt even sms my closest frriends to sell drugs, i would handle it by talking to each other, and it should be the same on argonath

Ooh, even thought I have left the community I will support this, pming someone abouy selling or buyinh drucs should be a rulebreak as the members often pm the hole server list with all the ID's. Making it a kind of illegal advertisment, witch is a rulebreak and someone might to tell me why thats a rule if you still let them advertis it in peoples pm. The roleplay of being drug dealer has never been so boring, insted of people knowinh that 'aah on that corner they sell drugs' or witch guy you should accualy call and speak code words with to get you're package of drugs. Insted there is a mafia dude pming you, I myself always say 'no' and tells them to roleplay it if they want to buy - so far only ONE has accualy tried to rp it after I told him so. Cheet to him for trying, but what about the othet group of drug buyers. I also do think this fast way of buying drugs cuases more scams, scams on new hard working members happens. It would be so much more fun if you accualy could see the balls standing on their corner slangin' drugs to the cars witch passes buy. Guess now you'll have to pm people if they want to buy/sell, and it ruins so many good roleplays you could have with the drugs.

If one person enjoyes PM'ing over 100 ID's with the same question, then that is his own waste of time. What is good though is that you attempt to give him a different approach so that eventually he may try other ways to sell his drugs in a more roleplaying matter. It's all about finding your way around. We all know that with a little help, finding your way can happen much faster than being on your own.

If a player PMs you about buying or selling drugs either ignore it, or what I typically say is "I don't roleplay through PM" they'll most likely stop PMing you once they realize that sending out PMs about this doesn't work..

Gandalf is correct. This idea is hard to enforce because people may not be telling the truth. Likewise with the police they will only get involved if evidence shows the person has committed a crime.

If somebody offers you drugs through PM, either say No, don't answer, or turn your PM off.

It's a 'Private Message', it's between 2 people exclusively, nothing to do with admins. Nobody forces you to buy the drugs, and there's no feasible way of monitoring.

As already mentioned, if made illegal, there would be people trying to get others in the sh!t, with no evidence, and would create a sh!tload more reports for something which you can deal with yourself through /setpm off

Also take in mind that /PM is not accepted as valid evidence when submitting reports whether it be ARPD reports, or roleplay reports and situation in general. Therefore, you wanting to make this illegal goes against that entire system of non-roleplay so I won't happen. As mentioned pull your big boy pants up and ignore it.
