CPU Overheats, It causes the Motherboard to shut down so it won't melt any CPU components.I know the problem is fixed but i think you need to
Reapply New Thermal Paste just in case

1 month ago i was messing around with my BIOS settings, Accidentally overclocked my Pentium 4 CPU
Then my PC restarts & it won't turn on!

I was freaking out, 5 minutes later i was able to turn it on and get into the BIOS menu. The CPU gets overheated 100°C, causing the system to shutdown.
I've browsing around the internet "How to reset BIOS Settings" and managed to get it fixed 1 week later.
[
LGA775 Motherboard] My 2 attempts : I didn't know that the heatsink is installed correctly

First attempt : Applied New Thermal Paste on the CPU (Temperature stucks at 80°C)
Second attempt : Reapplied the Thermal Paste (Still stuck @80°C)
Third attempt : Again, Reapplied the Thermal Paste, Having a look at the heatsink xD (Fixed! 40°C - 60°C)
Good luck.

I've learned how to replace CPU too when i was reapplying that paste. lol
( Ignore my specs
