So, I uninstall my drivers, take them out and put them back again? Well, probably that means that I need to tidy every single unit of the PC, so, it's dismantling time. I will send a photo later and I'm going to ask which the power unit is.

I've updated my GPU driver once and i feel the slowdowns after.

The black screen problem occured even before the driver update, so that is not it. Anyway, I will try to look at the PC more carefully and look especially at the GPU, fan and power unit. Thanks for responses, guys.

I'm sorry to bump into this topic, but, I still can't play GTA IV Single Player, IVMP or SAMP without the screen going blank after some minutes of gameplay. I can't even start a role play properly in this way. Also, I don't want to just press /q every five minutes.

I don't remember nor want to read previous posts but does it happen with any game? Can you run some benchmark on the gpu while checking the temps? try to test the ram too.

Oh btw, are you connected to the monitor via HDMI cable? If that's so and you got a spare one, try replacing it.

I haven't tested each and every game, but at least it occurs when playing GTA SA or GTA IV or their multiplayer extensions. By the way, which software is good enough for a universal benchmark? By the way, I was told that the browser doesn't cause a black screen because

On browser usage it will not happen because your GPU is set on idle mode, or else it does not draw power to display a webpage.
However if it happens constantly when gaming, it's like I mentioned earlier.. either faulty GPU or about to blow.. or your PSU/power unit fails to provide power when GPU demands it...

try another vga cable just in case, for the benchmark you can try FurMark http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ (it will just stress the GPU)

Check the temperatures during the test and don't run it for too much time. For the temps and other infos (such as power limit & more) you can try HWInfo (run it in sensors only mode), make sure to run only these two programs and nothing else while stressing the gpu.

I have heard that, i never damaged any previous card i had by using it, if i'm not mistaken that happened with some nvidia cards from 5xx series. Just like people who claim that Prime95 will fry your CPU it all depends on what settings you're using (if you're savage and retarded at same time you check every setting without first reading how the program works and then claim it's Prime95 killing CPUs ) and of course if you went cheap with mobo, there is a higher chance that you may damage it using prime95 but it's all up to you, nobody forces you to try it without first checking what can happen.
What really kills the cards is the heat produced on smaller components which are not directly cooled down, usually when that is going to happen the system will start to downclock and undervolt to keep the temps safe (Nvidia and AMD used throttling over FurMark because of that), in worst scenario it's going to shut down. It is true that FurMark puts the GPU in a scenario that you will never have while playing games and it may not be the best option out there for a suspected dying card but you can always adjust the settings and start by low presets to see what happens when the gpu is under load.

If you don't trust FurMark, go for 3dmark free version or heaven https://unigine.com/en/products/benchmarks/heaven/, we just have to understand if it's a heat issue or incoming power failure.

So, I did a more detailed research of the GPU, and here is what I found out. The fan doesn't spin, at all! The pallets move heavily even when moved by hand. So, because of this, the GPU would be really hot in five minutes of IV or any game. Anyway, thanks for the support, I will try to change it as soon as I can.

Thanks, man. But, I found the real issue. I will just get another GPU fan!

My problem has been solved, I had put a functioning fan to my GPU and, as a matter of fact, the game goes more fluid than I was used to it working on IV:MP, with 22 players on the server.
