Hello, guys. It seems that for some days, even if my IV:MP or GTA IV single player work smoothly, they seem to turn my screen blank after some minutes of gameplay. The screen is like the computer wouldn't be started, but the sound works. What can I do so this problem won't occur?

Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro (build 14393)
RAM: 8 GB (total physical memory 7.94 GB)
HDD space: 1 TB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 630 (but, I don't know why my graphics driver is 2 months out of date)

Looking at the spec's I suppose its a custom build pc...

So there can be few solutions and issues to this problem.

Your GPU , check the wire attachment and everything else it might be off or something.
Check your Fan , see if its moving or not , if its not clean the dusts.
Check the wiring , going from pc to your monitor , try looking at it closely it could be damaged.

or it might be a temp issue, try cleaning dust off your pc or get an electric fan or a nice airflow case and a cool room

Most probably it is a problem with the dust, I will try to open the PC port and clean all the parts 😜

Lets hope its that or else , the damages can be real.

If screen goes black it could be an issue of motherboard.
If pc restarts then the power supply is too less for your need.

Else could be a ram issue if you enabled xmp, better to disable it.

For now uninstall your graphic driver and reboot your pc.
Insure in device manager it reads vga not ur graphic name , else uninstall it from there also and reboot.

Then freshly install new graphic driver.

Another thing if the game is on and graphics of the iv go blank, but you are still able to see the texts it means you have a faulty timesync file, redownload it.

No, I can't see either the text or anything else, because the monitor goes, in a way, off, and I can't turn the screen back on. But the sounds work. As I've said at the beginning of the topic, it is like when the PC has no power and the monitor is open.

It doesn't happen with browser usage. But it happens with SA:MP, as well. And that game runs at 120 FPS on my PC.

On browser usage it will not happen because your GPU is set on idle mode, or else it does not draw power to display a webpage.
However if it happens constantly when gaming, it's like I mentioned earlier.. either faulty GPU or about to blow.. or your PSU/power unit fails to provide power when GPU demands it...

Can you try a friends GPU or something?

I've updated my GPU driver once and i feel the slowdowns after,
Idk why, so i reinstalled the stock GPU driver lol

Also one time there was a race event on alderney with 7+ players,
My FPS drops to 15 and suddenly the screen goes black and i can still hear the sounds.
then i restarted my PC after, i guess the GPU is tired
