Yep, at first, i hate new scripts, cause it was confusing, Hot in my house, i was anxious, i was just not relaxed.
i want 0.2.1 just because i liked how everything was, how it was basic, how you can pick all skins you want.

I like the scripts very much.

They didn't seem like a "Zomg 1337 Scripts 9999x better than pen1".  You know that it may not actually have the Pen1shop features, but instead of all that - There are some stuff like growing weed, what are really original.

Now after waiting for the new scripts for long time, about 4 months?, I realize what has taken the time on developing the gamemode...
They would be the Weed system & lots of other stuff, what they have made original.

The "Shop for clothes" has even been made original, which is even more better, you know?

Some people don't see the good light of the new scripts, because in the start they seem so hard, so they did seem hard for me.
But having a closer look takes you closer...

1. About timing out... Some solutions were found and fixed... There is some error as well which we are trying to find out... It is about "teaming timing out"... Other "timed out" is not cos of script even... I checked the official servers, people were timing out there as well... 50% of timing out - pings (lag)... So with random time out we cannot help you...

2. The same cars on server... Yes, the same... Check Car-dealers and you will see other cars... This is one of the advantages of owning your own car... So you can scream, cry, demand - the car system right now is the best from my point of view... Cos cars on server - just to drive around... Wanna cool car - pay money... Wanna own limo - pay money... What is the problem???

3. Cash inbalance detection... The main bug of cash fixed... The big inbalance - who asked you to try to use the bug for increasing your money? Of cos you were kicked every time... Ask me to fix? I do not fix without checking exactly accounts... That is why several "businessmen" lost their business right at the first day of scripts...

4. "I do not like skins system"... Good... That is why there are skin-shops... Go and buy the one you like... Or you wanted to own only food shops?

5. "I am confused what to do on server and hate scripts for it"... Nice... The one thing you should know - www.argonathrpg.com... Not all pages finished, but at least you can see the commands, skins system, loan system, cars system and general commands for shops...
And what is not clear?

6. There are too much commands and missions!... So what? Should we stay SA:MP RPG copsvsrobbers all the time?
What is fun in just using /drunk and walk drunk? When you can go and buy drinks in a club...

And the last... Please, do not flood my PMs or Gandalf's on server with messages like "OMFG loan is not working!" or "Where can I buy a freeway?" or "How much costs banshee?"... 80% of your questions have already answers on forums and on web site... License and passport ask from admins... There are more admins who can give it to you... Getting the Badge - check ARPD site, who are the leaders, and ask them to give you the badge to become official cop... Not me, not Gandalf takes this problems... And right now for us more important to find the timing out reasons then show, where is freeway located...

It is not a full version of script we wanted to give... Several features were removed, as they caused a crash... The one fault of scrips was - trying to use all suggested features in SA:MP 0.2.2... It does not work... We removed... But we still try to fix the timing-outs with the scripts we want to use... And that is not 0.2.1 script we wanna use...

i disagree. there is a wider variety which is very good. i like the control of them and, as a limo driver, find that it will really improve the quality of the job that ALS limo drivers do

We tried the 0.2.1 scripts on the 0.2.2 server. Result: the server lagged as hell and restarted within 5 minutes every time.
The problems in timeouts are probably due to us putting a lot of features, and we are going to adress the ones that we think are causing the timeout, we have already reduced the mass timeouts a lot.

We could keep the 0.2.1, but as there is no master list it would lead to not a lot of new SA:MP players coming to Argonath. Our goal is to have a stable and growing community, for this we need a 0.2.2 server.

It has cause us a lot of work to find out where the problems are. So far we have taken down the features:
- streaming cars
- automatic weather (lag)
- time (timeouts)

We have changed the way peoples cars leave the server due to a topic in SA:MP forums that describes a bug and a method on how to reduce it.
This bug is 'fixed for future releases'.

What pains us most is that features that are advertised seem to be causing problems when used. We have put a lot of time and effort in to designing, and have put in all possible precautions against crashing.
The stability is one of the things that we try to do our best for, but we are up against some things we would rather not be.
Do not see this as a sign to ask on SA:MP forums, the answers you will find there refer to bad coding or possible script bugs....not possible problems in the 0.2.2 version.

Well yeah we tried the old scripts on 0.2.2... The most people already got bored of them after 5 mins and wanted back on new server even with the times out...
Also note to yourself, that the time out problem was not solved in 0.2.1... It just did not have coming and timed out/leaving messages... So the times out were... SA:MP 0.2.2 cannot handle old script, which was on 0.2.1... And that already showed, that the new script better even in running on 0.2.2...
And as Gandalf said - 0.2.1 servers are not in a master list of crowded 0.2.2 version... So 0.2.1 server anyway was going nowhere...

This topic is so dumb... 11 people so far (according to the poll) have voted that they want the old scripts back... That is a huge insult to developers that have devoted their effort and time into creating new scripts for us to enjoy, sure there are teething problems but this is the case with every new script. I think that the developers have made a great job and I hope they fix the bugs because I am excited for when the server will be stable.

I said people to go on the new server, cos 0.2.1 scripts were not just timing out people, it was crashing the whole 0.2.2 server... Still even after it you came on new server with the same confusion... And now you still confused...
