In this Topic you will learn about what is your rules as a criminal :-

Types Of Suspections:

In Argonath RPG it is a free-mode server where you are free to do everything but by abiding some rules (Like In-Real Life).Such as you have to respect the rules&regulations which were set by the Cops in the community and if you fail to abide such rules there are some penalty fee to be paid. The main reasons why players are suspected are as follows:

Pullover:

- Failing to respect the driving limit on the roads (Pullover)
- Failing to listen to an officer (Pullover)
- Reckless driving (Pullover)

Three Stars:

- Damaging Government Properties (Punching Cop Cars, etc)
- Brandishing a gun out in public.
- Assault
- Vandalism
- Aiding
- Kidnap
- GTA (Grand Theft Auto)
- Evading a Traffic Stop
- Homicide

Six Stars:

- Homicide (You killed two players)
- Killing a player while already suspected.

Your Aim as being suspected is to either Surrender yourself or Escape.

When you have just been  Suspected, your allowed to instant complain by getting out of your car or freezing yourself. After that you have to give up using the /gu command. After that, the officer will take it as "Surrender".He will then read a Miranda where you have to remain fully quiet till you reach the police department.

By Surrendering (/gu) you will be taken to the investigation room where you will be questioned regarding your suspection and the suspecting officer will be called regarding this .Note that you are also free to raise any questions without any flaming words in it.After that, the Investigator will either decide to unsuspect you (If you're not guilty) or jail you for a certain amount of time (If your guilty of course).Minimum time of jail is 30 seconds and maximum is 15 minutes (900 seconds).

After you are taken to proceed the investigation, your not allowed to leave the game by lame excuses. It's punishable and took as an offence.

By Escaping yourself, your taking your own risk of dying. Your aim as an Escaping Criminal is to run away from cops for a certain amount of time (To See how much time use /rhl In-Game and not to shoot them and increase your wanted level. You are also free to defend yourself by using a gun but not before the officer opened fire.Note that incase of death coroner fee of $1,000 will be deducted from your money.

Stars and Minutes:

One star is 5 minutes.
Two stars are 10 minutes.
Three stars are 15 minutes.
Four stars are 20 minutes.
Five stars are 25 minutes.
Six stars are 30 minutes.

In addition to Marcel's suggestions, perhaps it'd be beneficial to add info to the escaping to include cophunting (not directly escaping, but looking for cops to fight).

Also note that you're not allowed to give up when low on health.Severe punishments will be issued to those caught doing such act.It is not tolerated.
Horribly misguided. When you surrender, you are frozen and unable to be killed, which eliminates the possibility of the officer getting fined for killing a surrendered suspect.
With the exception of suspect-vs-non law enforcement confrontations, this rule is non-existent.

A large portion of surrenders happen after a suspect realizes that they are going to lose the confrontation, so they choose to surrender right then and there. If this 'rule' were true, then there would be a significantly less amount of surrenders.

Also, aren't players that are suspected through command (/su) given two stars on default, with the exception of the crime being kidnapping/207 giving three stars?

No; they get one star when they are suspected through the scripted command. They get four stars when they kill someone - 31 minutes of wanted level for killing a high ranked officer and 16 minutes for the rest of killings (this includes ARPD officers (freecops), firefighters, medics, civilians, taxi drivers, etc).
If you kill more than one civilian, firefighter, medic, civilian, ARPD officer or any other player who is not at least a SAPD Cadet you'll get a 31 minutes of wanted level as well.
I believe you get two stars when you try to break into a house which is locked and equiped with an alarm.

Surrendering when with low health is allowed as far as I know. At least I've never ever been punished for surrendering when with low health before and I must say I've done it a couple of times already.

Exactly. Real criminals should aim to not be 24/7 suspects but rather aim to stay off police radar, a concept failed to be understood by many groups we have here.

I believe the only way to get 2 stars is: when you have commited murder at least once, and then your /runhowlong time decreases a certain ammount.

Also,

Should be renamed to "Your aim as suspect"

You get four stars and 16 minutes of wanted level when you kill a civilian, a taxi driver, a hooker, a medic, a firefighter or an ARPD officer.

You can also get two stars when an officer suspects you twice.

Yes, doing crimes and letting the police always be on your back makes you a criminal, however that's not what a smart criminal does. I suggest you lock this topic since it's actually the opposite of what the developers are trying to accomplish with the new system for criminals in RS5.
