What do you miss from 0.2.1? (No complain topic).

All right, so i think it's some commands i miss from the old server. This is not a way to complain, or a "please give us 0.2.1 back" - topic. It's made so maybe the devs snaps it up and improves the server! =)

So I'll start.

I miss the /area, /id, /jailtime, /ad, commands.
I also miss that the /me commands is not purple.

Also, I'd like to see /admins as it was - own line for each admin, including the id and level like it is now.
Another thing I'd want is /invent as it looked before, now it looks kinda messy in my opinion.

Few minutes after the opening, Gandalf went to the city hall to give people their passports and license back, if you were there, you would have got it

I miss the RPing basically all people stay civilian and moan like "meh money bla skins blabla car bla my bizz bla bla :wow:" instead of taking a job or be criminal or pay a hooker or whatsoever to create a money flow between players though RP interaction.

Everyone is trying to get some money by loaning and buying a bizz which is pointless as long as you don't have a regular income (/job)

/area is on the developers wish list.
/id was thought to be less needed as you see it in most chat (except standard) and in players name.
/jailtime will be back, with another name
/ad might be back....but not free  :devroll:
/admins is already changed..tell me if it is better.
/invent is adjusted, but will be cleaned a bit more once we go forward.

As there are not a lot of startup weapons, people have some trouble fighting from the beginning. This was done in purpose to keep out the deathmatchers who are usually lost without a weapon. The script is a pure RPG with idead taken from our MTA and the old scripts, merged to fit the RPG name better.

Of course people are lost as they do not have a lot of money, houses and cars...but that will soon be over

We have some ideas, and if you noticed the timeouts are already less.

Crashes of SA:MP:
1. Popup windows like MSN and Xfire, or activity that raises ping like e-mail checking
2. Being idle for some time
3. ALT-TABbing or pressing esc for more than just a couple of seconds.

Timeouts:
Automatic time, on light change people were crashed. When we doubled the time change, the timeout time doubles as well. Time disabled.
Weather: Some weather types cause lag. More lag = higher chance of timeout. Weather change made to admin command for events only.
Deleting cars: Tricky one, as we do not want to give up the car system. We found a possible solution and will put it to the scripts.
Textdraw: speedo will be redesigned not to use textdraw.

We have noted that mass timeout happens more to people who are outside driving as to people who are in an interior. This is now our main focus of attention.

I don't know if someone already said, but I think /car command would be useful to get back. Or is there a command like that already? To be honest, I haven't had time to check out every command yet, so I might have missed it. :razz:

If you think that /car destroys roleplaying, in that case it should be atleast on admin commands, because atleast I've gotten a lot of help on carjacking situations when using that command.

As Gandalf said, i really miss the /ad. And it's a good to make a fee of it, like $300 or something.

And, i don't think admins should be able to really flood the ad-command, it's getting abused by many admins. Like "Advertise: Hi Gandalf!" and such unnecessary stuff.
