Yes, because they were the only ones who gave up a lot of the RL time to make the community a better place. Don't get me wrong, it's noble what the whole scripting, management and administration team did with the RS5 update, and I like it very much (I think this was a point that did not come through - because I shouldn't have to say but whatever); but you shouldn't forget about the ones that are here since the beggining, trying to make everyone have fun by roleplaying, offered to help for years and were refused, busted their asses to come up with new ideas and had no credit for it, spent money in helping the community and didn't even hear a "thanks", always were available to do whatever and tried to create a good environment outside the game (the list goes on). I know I will get a lot of hate from this post, but whoever has questions about it, I would gladly answer them through PM.

Congratulations.  But this thread isn't about you and your effort, it's about RS5 and the effort scripters and testers put into it. Same goes for the Sforza HQ, it's still the beta so not everything is available yet.

P.S. Loving the new changes - specially the new way to enter interiors and the new siren scripts.

I see a lot of people complaining about how bugged is RS5. Yet you seem to forget that it's a BETA stage and we are all here to find the bugs.
The beta version of RS5 is not representative of the final version.

   Exactly. We would better start working our asses off and find bugs and make developers a service instead of practically moaning about the RS5 itself.

You mean we are supposed to test things that we have no premission for? how am I going to test anything if I have -1,000,000,000 and half of the people online don't even know how anything works "oh write /help" yes, and I will see how it's supposed to work, well report the glitch, how am I supposed to report a bug if I don't know if it works correctly, I can withdraw -100000000 and crash the server, I don't know if I'm supposed to withdraw -100000000 I know to report the bug, and Zaila fixed it by letting me withdraw only -9999999 .. WHY CAN I WITHDRAW DEPT .. this script makes no sense. But how am I supposed to know if it doesn't, maybe the whole point of the script is to download dept.. Oh wait I have an idea, let's try if the colors in house names work

Excuse me but no, a beta means everything is polished and ready to go, you just need to repair a few spelling errors here and there and turn the server online, this is hardly an alpha, so don't lie to us by saying we are beta testing, what we are doing is QA testing.

You obviously need to review the definition of "beta"

I mean don't get me wrong, the scripters worked their asses off for 3 years to make this and they can be god damn proud of what they have done, but this is in no way the last stage.. I mean when the server opened you couldn't even enter interriors.. atleast call it a test server, oh and if any of you scripters are offended by what I'm saying, don't be you did a great job for free, but .. not beta..

You couldn't enter interiors because they had to change server last minute and the database was not working properly. It has been explained already.
And yes it's a beta since almost all the features are there. It just needs bug fixing.

Call it what ever version development that makes you contempt, we honestly couldn't care less.
It is said to be a Beta, take it as a Beta. The time spent arguing about what testing phase the server is in could have been used to contribute in a proper manner, such as bug testing, offering advice on changes or simply helping out.

I somehow doubt it matters what so ever what "level" of development you would like to call it, it's a word, words are used in many different forms. Get over it and move on back to testing if you are interested in testing instead of complaining about the phase of testing at the moment.

As stated numerous times, it is a public beta test server, it is for the public as in any and all users to join and assist with the development and bug fixes of within the current state of the developing scripts.


Continue to argue about a development phase and I will gladly remove any and all of the useless posts.

You obviously no idea what you're talking about. Of course things would bug as many more players was online. Before, we had been testing with maybe 3 or 4 players at the most. Yesterday, we peaked at 60 players. It was a big test to see how the scripts was performing and it performed way better than i expected it would.

And yes, this is the last stage before release.

Alot of features player's already have access to, so you don't need additional permissions to test them out.  Group system is another story.
If you have minus money, why not ask a scripter to reset it for you back to $0.

For your information /help does provide help but I guess some fail to realize that right now.  If you even bothered to check it you'd find out how to name your house.
Not all commands are the same as RS4.1, sure the whole banking is a tad complicated but if you spent time getting to know it you'd be much better off.
